Chapter 164 - Chapter 83: The Dragon Maiden (Part 1)

A wild gale howled as sand and stones were flung into the air.

The blood-red storm grew ever more violent. Ye Chen stood at its very center, bathed in crimson light. Behind him, a blood-colored flood dragon coiled and surged, its sharp fangs bared, eyes cold and sinister—its ferocious appearance alone was enough to chill the heart.

Watching this scene, Chu Ge couldn't help but praise,

"What a vicious dragon."

It was unclear whether he was referring to the phantom flood dragon—or to Ye Chen himself.

Ye Chen seemed not to hear a word. Only a frigid glint shot from his eyes.

In the next instant, his figure burst forward like an arrow released from the bow, leaving behind a blood-red afterimage in midair.

His speed—more than twice what it had been before!

Bathed in bloodlight, Ye Chen gained not only speed, but strength as well.

He suddenly threw a punch, his fist launching forward like a cannonball, carrying a devastating, unstoppable momentum. Even the air was compressed by this strike, erupting with a violent boom!

This punch was both ferocious and blindingly fast. Even a cultivator at the Fifth Heaven Realm would be alarmed if facing it head-on. Yet Chu Ge neither dodged nor retreated—he also threw out a punch!

Their fists collided with a thunderous crash. Though it was merely a clash of flesh and blood, it rang out like a bolt of lightning!

The muscles on Ye Chen's arm instantly bulged, veins surging like writhing dragons.

The immense recoil surged from his arm down into his legs, and under this tremendous force, the ground beneath both men could not withstand the pressure—cracks spread outward inch by inch!

Yet compared to Ye Chen's distorted, strained expression, Chu Ge's face remained as calm as ever.

"Ye Chen, at this level, you can't even entertain me. I'm disappointed."

The two locked eyes. Chu Ge looked at the resentment and venom in Ye Chen's gaze and spoke flatly.

The next moment, the fist that had been locked in stalemate with Ye Chen turned into an open palm. Chu Ge seized Ye Chen's forearm and yanked hard!

Ye Chen had no way to resist the overwhelming force. His body was dragged forward uncontrollably toward Chu Ge!

Chu Ge instantly withdrew his arm, seized Ye Chen by the head, and smashed him downward—

Then his knee shot forward like a fired cannon shot, carrying immense force as it slammed viciously into Ye Chen's abdomen!

The brutal knee strike twisted Ye Chen's facial features completely out of shape!

Violent, overwhelming pain surged through his abdominal cavity like raging waves!

Blood, stomach acid, and even fragments of his internal organs were violently vomited out of his throat!

His entire body was sent flying by that single blow.

But Chu Ge had no intention of stopping there!

His figure flickered, and in an instant he appeared behind Ye Chen, who was still rising through the air.

The next moment, Chu Ge clenched both fists together into a hammer and smashed them down violently onto Ye Chen's back!

Crack!

The sickening sound of shattering bones rang out!

"Ugh—AAAAAH!!!"

A miserable scream followed immediately after!

With a thunderous boom, Ye Chen's body was slammed into the ground. Dust exploded into the air as the earth split apart in fractures!

Many of the observing experts couldn't help but shake their heads.

Ye Chen was indeed talented—but compared to the monstrous prodigy Chu Ge, he was far too immature and weak.

Anyone with eyes could tell:

Ye Chen was nothing more than a toy in Chu Ge's hands, crushed and kneaded at will. The only reason he was still alive was simply because Chu Ge had yet to strike with true killing intent.

However…

Looking at Ye Chen now, lying motionless on the ground in such a wretched state—this level of misery was already little different from death.

One knee strike, one hammer blow—just two attacks, yet Ye Chen's internal organs were shattered and his spine pulverized!

Even with a King Physique, he could not withstand such brutal torment from Chu Ge!

He was now like a guttering candle in the wind—one final breath away from total annihilation!

Many of the great experts sighed inwardly. Ye Chen's talent was truly exceptional. In any force across the Eastern Profound Domain, he would have been groomed as an elite, even a core disciple.

For such a promising seedling to wither away like this—it was a pity.

But that was all they dared to feel.

No one would offend Chu Ge for the sake of Ye Chen.
