The sun began to rise, waking people up to life. Somewhere, in some room, a boy known as a hero who had saved the kingdom of Kasegi was sleeping soundly. Soon, Yashimiro's eyes opened.
"Man, I think I went a bit too far yesterday," the teenager said.
When Yashimiro tried to move, he felt a weight on him and was surprised to see Nohara sleeping on top of him.
"Well, I definitely didn't expect this."
A moment later, Nohara also woke up. When she saw the situation, she immediately blushed.
"Can you explain why you're sleeping in my bed?"
"We're a couple now, and couples often sleep together."
Yashimiro just tilted his head to the side, not fully understanding what his girlfriend meant.
"It looks like I'll have to teach you a lot about life. I'm going to take a shower first we'll talk later."
Nohara went to the bathroom, leaving a thoughtful Derivan on the bed. After his stomach growled, the teenager decided to get dressed and go find something to eat. Outside, he ran into his master.
"Yo, Yashimiro, how was your night?" the man asked with a perverted grin.
"What do you mean?"
"I saw that you and Nohara spent the night together, and I wanted to know what you were doing."
"Even if we did something, that's our business. Focus on your own love life," Yashimiro said as he walked past his master toward a nearby shop.
"I was just teasing, geez."
After shopping, Yashimiro returned to the hotel room where he and the others were staying.
"Listen, when we get back to Ozoro, you're taking me on a date," Nohara announced.
"What? You're not staying in Kasegi? Why? Your family and friends are here."
"You didn't think that after we saved Kasegi you'd just run away from me, did you?"
"To be honest… yeah, I did," Yashimiro replied before receiving a punch in the stomach. "What was that for?"
"For being an idiot."
"And what does your family think about this?"
"They agreed."
About an hour later, the group gathered in front of the hotel. Shortly after, Queen Alice approached them along with the former king, Maroke.
"So, you're heading back already?"
"Yes. It was really nice coming back here after so many years. Unfortunately, Kasegi isn't my true home but it will always have a special place in my heart," Yashimiro replied.
"Once again, thank you so much for saving our kingdom. Yashimiro, please take care of my sister."
"I think I should be the one taking care of this idiot," Nohara interrupted, making everyone chuckle slightly except Yashimiro, who felt offended.
"Alright, it's time for us. See you!"
"Goodbye! Safe travels!"
"Would you have believed, father, that this unruly brat would one day become powerful enough to save our kingdom?"
"You know, you shouldn't judge a book by its cover."
From a distance, Ray watched as Yashimiro, Nohara, and the others left the kingdom of Kasegi.
Yarita was walking toward the Black Blood hideout with a fragment of the Kinotro crystal she had taken from Kasegi.
"Lord Gerard will be pleased with me."
As she walked, she noticed a group of men harassing a woman. Without hesitation, she decided to intervene.
"Are you really so pathetic that you attack a defenseless woman as a group?"
"Who are you?"
"You're not worth knowing my name."
"We'll teach you how to speak to us with respect."
One of the men lunged at Yarita, but before he could strike, he dropped dead.
"What just happened?"
"She just got lucky."
Another man attacked, but he ended up the same way.
"So, you're the last one?"
The group's leader fired a magical energy beam. Yarita was forced to jump back to avoid it, then fired her own.
"Go to hell!"
The man smirked and used the woman as a shield, causing Yarita's attack to hit and kill her, which shocked the girl.
"What a coward using a hostage as a shield."
"I don't mind if it helps me survive."
Yarita instantly appeared in front of him and pierced straight through him, pulling out his heart.
"What a surprise. I didn't think a scum like you even had a heart," she said, crushing it.
After killing the man, Yarita stood over the woman's body, staring at it at least until she heard someone calling out.
"Mommy? Mommy, where are you?"
Yarita noticed a little girl who, as it turned out, was looking for her mother. The Black Blood member immediately realized what she had done.
"Damn… what am I supposed to do now? The smartest thing would be to leave things as they are and walk away but why do I feel this strange emotion?"
Yarita decided to bury the woman's body. When she finished, she approached the girl.
"Hey, what is a little girl like you doing all alone in such a big forest?"
"I'm looking for my mom. She said she had to check something and would come right back but it's been a long time and she hasn't returned."
"Why do I feel so strange looking at her face?" the teenager wondered. "Tell me, what's your name?"
"Jina."
"Tell me, Jina do you want to look for your mother together with me?"
Jina was surprised by the offer. "Will you really help me?"
"Of course. And don't call me 'ma'am.' My name is Yarita, and I'm not much older than you."
"Okay."
Instead of heading to the Black Blood hideout, Yarita changed direction and set off on a journey with her new companion.
Yashimiro, Nohara, Kira, Blade, and Ronibo returned to the city of Ozoro.
"There's no place like home," Yashimiro admitted.
Nohara went to the house where Ania lived. Ronibo and Blade went their separate ways, while the siblings headed home.
"We're back."
"Oh, Yashimiro, Kira how did it go?" Mozalia asked.
"Great," he replied.
The three of them sat on the couch in the living room, and Yashimiro and Kira told the whole story. What surprised Mozalia the most was that her children had met their father.
"So, you met your father?" she asked with a melancholic smile.
"Yes. He told us to greet you and said he's proud of us."
"I see… maybe I should have gone with you after all, if I had known something like this would happen."
"Mom, is everything okay?" Kira asked, noticing her expression.
"Yes. What's done is done you can't live in the past forever. You must be hungry after all that traveling. Come on, I just finished making dinner."
"Great, I'm starving," Yashimiro said.
