Ronibo and Alice arrived at the hospital and wanted to hand Yashimiro over to the doctors, but they refused.
"We can't treat a traitor, I'm sorry."
Alicja slammed her hand on the desk. "Listen, that boy is not a traitor. He was wrongly framed, and all the residents were manipulated by Tomar. If you won't do it for yourselves, then do it for the daughter of the former king."
The nurse was about to refuse again, but a doctor interrupted her.
"All right, we'll help the boy," said the head doctor.
"But sir"
"Remember, the hospital's mission is to help anyone in need, no matter who they are."
"I understand. I'm very sorry."
The doctors took Yashimiro to a room. At the same time, Nohara was surprised by her new power. Tomar raised his hand, preparing to attack, but before he could, it became covered in crystal.
"Damn it."
In a split second, Nohara appeared in front of the king, who immediately jumped back. However, the red-haired teenager grabbed Tomar by the leg and slammed him into the ground.
"I can't believe it even using the power of the Kinotro crystal, I can't do anything to her," Tomar thought angrily.
"Your time is up. It's time to restore the kingdom to normal."
"Damn you, bitch!"
"Leave our king alone!" Two random men threw magical lassos at Nohara, which wrapped around her arms.
"I'll try not to hurt you too much," Nohara said, spinning around and throwing the men into a building wall.
Tomar tried to use the moment to escape, but Nohara had no intention of letting him. She pointed her finger at him and created a small but very sharp crystal, which she shot at Tomar, hitting him directly in the heart.
"Fuck…" were his last words before he fell dead to the ground.
"It worked," Nohara said, returning to her normal form and sitting down, breathing heavily.
After King Kasegi was killed, his spell stopped working, and all the residents regained their senses.
"What happened?" one of them wondered.
"I don't remember much, but it feels like we were under some kind of illusion."
Ray approached Nohara. "That bastard is finally dead. I wish I could've done something myself to contribute to his death."
"You had three whole years to come up with something," Nohara replied.
After resting a bit, Nohara decided to go to the hospital to check on Yashimiro. On the way, she met Kira.
"You're going to check on my brother too?"
Nohara nodded. It took them a few minutes to reach the hospital, where they met Alicja and Ronibo.
"If you're here, does that mean you defeated Tomar?"
"Of course. What about Yashimiro?"
"The doctors are still working to remove the poison from his body," Ronibo explained.
"Nohara, come with me. We'll have to explain everything to our parents," said her older sister.
"All right."
The Hokane sisters arrived at their family home and explained the whole situation.
"I'm ashamed that we were deceived by Borner," admitted the former king.
"That doesn't matter now. What matters is that we stopped him and restored the kingdom," Alice said. "Now the important question is what about the throne? Are you going to return to ruling?"
"You know what? After all this, I think I'll step down. It's time for a new generation." Maroke turned to Nohara. "Nohara, I want you to become the queen of Kasegi."
"What? Why me and not Alice?"
"Because you were the one who ultimately defeated Borner. You've become truly strong, and I'm sure you'll be a great queen."
Nohara thought about it for a moment. "I'm sorry, Father, but I have to refuse."
Her answer surprised everyone, especially her parents.
"May I ask why?"
"I'm honored you chose me, but I believe Alice is better suited to be queen. Besides, there are still many things I need to do."
Alice looked at her sister and began to understand.
"If that's your decision, then I will proudly accept this honor," Alice said.
"All right. In that case, I will announce that Alice will become the queen of Kasegi."
At the same time, Yarita appeared in Kasegi and took the Kinotro crystal.
"You're not even going to say hello?" Ray noticed his former acquaintance.
"Hello, Ray."
"You want to take the Kinotro crystal for Gerard? Let it go."
"Why should I?"
"Because he's a bad man. If he collects all the fragments, it will mean the end of our world."
"Why should I believe you?"
"I know you better than most. I know you're not completely evil. There's still some good in you."
"You don't know anything about me," Yarita replied, then disappeared.
After speaking with Yarita, Ray returned to help the residents clean up after the battle.
"I'll have to call a meeting of the Magic Council to explain everything. Alice, as the new queen, you'll also have to attend."
"I understand. You don't need to tell me."
Maroke went outside to check on the city and its people. At one point, a knight approached him.
"Your Majesty."
"What is the casualty report?"
"Three dead and ten injured. Fortunately, most of the residents managed to hide in shelters."
"What about the kingdom?"
"Rebuilding the damage will take at least half a year, if not longer."
"I understand. I thought it would take less time."
"Your Majesty, are you returning to the throne?"
"I am currently acting as temporary king. My successor is Alice. When I convene the Magic Council, I will officially pass the position to her."
At the same time, Kira, Blade, and Ronibo were sitting outside the room, waiting for news about Yashimiro. After about two hours, the door opened and a doctor came out.
"What about Yashimiro?" Ronibo asked.
"We managed to remove the poison from his body. His life is no longer in danger, but he will be asleep for a few days," the doctor explained.
"Phew, what a relief," Kira commented.
"Can we go in?"
"Yes, but not for long."
Ronibo nodded, and he and Kira entered the room.
"I've decided I want to become stronger. During the battle, I couldn't do anything. I was paralyzed by fear at the thought of fighting my father," Kira admitted. "While Yashimiro, Nohara, and Blade gave it their all."
"I understand. I'm sure that when Yashimiro regains consciousness, he'll help you with your training."
"You really think so?"
"Yes. Unfortunately, I can't help you much with controlling the Shonetsu power. But Yashimiro already has some experience, so he'll gladly help."
Blade overheard their conversation and decided to join in.
"You don't need his help. I can help you master the Shonetsu power."
"But have you mastered that new form Yashimiro used on the Island of Forgetting and in the fight with Tomar?"
Blade's eyebrows twitched at Kira's comment. He didn't want to admit he was behind Yashimiro.
"No, but it's only a matter of time before I master it too."
"Then when my brother wakes up, the three of us can train together," Kira suggested.
Soon, the three of them left the room. In front of the hospital, they met Nohara, who was about to visit Yashimiro.
"What about Yashimiro?"
"His life isn't in danger, but he'll be asleep for a while. You can visit him if you want."
Nohara nodded and went to the room where her friend was lying.
