Sienna's hands tightened around the wheel before the tips of her pale ears reddened first and the colour spread across her cheeks; it was faint, but on the face of the Nether Goddess it looked almost catastrophic, as if winter itself had suddenly remembered warmth and become ashamed of the weakness.
"Yes... P-Phei's essence stabilised me."
Dravenna remained silent.
Sienna's blush deepened.
She had forced the words out, yet Dravenna had offered no reaction, no nod and no merciful interruption that would allow the conversation to end.
Infuriating woman.
Sienna stared ahead with growing resentment.
"I can harness my power now to the fullest of my cultivation stage," she continued stiffly. "Both Nether Energy and Death Energy. My body no longer breaks beneath the burden of my power, and the energies are no longer leaking continuously into the surroundings."
Still, Dravenna said nothing and the silence became pointed.
Sienna's eyes narrowed.
"What?"
"I am listening."
