A few days later I had finished running more calculations and was beginning to review the data when I started hearing a commotion coming from behind me.
It seemed as though someone was looking through the warehouses and were closing in on me.
Then I saw the door handle jiggle. I prayed that I had locked it when I went to the bathroom earlier.
I hadn't. The door swung wide open.
The first thing I saw was the blinding light, the second was the silhouette of a buxom woman. One that seemed familiar.
Then I heard a familiar voice, "Wow, you look terrible. When was the last time you took a shower?"
I asked, "Xue Qing?"
She responded, "Who else? Do you know of another woman as attractive as me?"
"I guess not."
"Wow, you really aren't feeling well. Normally you would have been sarcastic."
"Yeah, well reality is depressing."
"I know it is. But, usually you are Mr, don't take life too seriously."
