The three seers slowly opened their eyes, then one of them looked at Eir, who was standing in front of them.
She kept staring at her for a few moments, as if thinking about everything that had happened, then quietly said to her two sisters:
"Hmm... things went as we desired."
Silence fell for a few moments.
Then the seer continued, looking at Eir:
"But... is it a good idea to let Eir be the one to approach that woman?"
The two sisters looked at her with interest, as she continued speaking:
"She is not like Forn."
She paused for a moment, then added:
"Forn was hunted by her own kind, and by almost all the races of the Mira continent, which is why she was able to integrate quickly into Asgard. She didn't have many options, and she had nowhere else to return to."
The seer lowered her gaze slightly, then said:
"As for that Mermaid Princess..."
She looked toward Eir.
"...she is still clinging to the outside world."
Then she continued:
"And she hasn't shown any anger or grudges like Forn."
The three seers knew that this difference was extremely important.
Forn had lived through circumstances that made her look at the world in a different way.
As for this woman...
...she had not yet severed her ties with the outside world.
She had not reached the point that would make her abandon everything and search for a new place to belong...
The two sisters looked at each other.
Then they sighed slightly.
The matter was indeed more complicated than they had expected.
After that...
They all looked at Eir.
And one of them said:
"You may leave now, Eir."
Then another added:
"You did well in what you did."
She paused for a moment, before continuing seriously:
"Watch that princess from now on."
Then their third sister said calmly and confidently:
"And try to get close to her if you can, and make her trust you."
Eir was listening to them in silence.
And as soon as she heard their words...
She nodded.
She didn't ask why.
And she didn't argue about it.
Then she turned and quietly left the place.
And as soon as Eir left the mountain...
...she raised her head and looked up at the sky.
She sighed slightly, then said:
"Hmm..."
She continued looking at the sky for a few moments.
Then she said in a tone carrying a hint of annoyance:
"I hope this proves to be useful."
She paused for a moment, then added:
"I don't want to do something useless while my sisters are doing all the important work."
After that...
Eir began walking toward the city again.
Her steps were calm, but her mind was preoccupied with the seers and what they had asked of her.
She knew that the matter was not just about watching the Mermaid Princess.
If the three seers were interested in her to this extent, there must be something special about that woman.
Something related to that woman's future.
Or perhaps...
...her fate within Asgard.
And on the mountain...
...the three seers were still sitting in their places.
They looked at each other.
Silence fell among them for some time.
Then one of them said:
"Let us see what will happen."
One of her sisters raised her gaze to her.
So she continued:
"We will see if fate will make that woman be with us, as happened with Forn..."
She paused briefly.
Then she said:
"Or not."
Her words were calm, but they carried a deep meaning.
For the three seers were not speaking of an ordinary matter.
They knew that the fate they had seen before might repeat itself once again.
But...
...there was no guarantee that the outcome would be as it happened with Forn.
The other two sisters nodded.
Then they closed their eyes once more.
And quiet returned to the place.
They continued reading fate, just as they always did.
Their eyes were closed, and their minds were immersed in the secrets of the future.
And outside...
Eir continued her way toward the city.
As for inside the mountain...
...the three seers were silently watching the threads of fate, waiting to know the answer.
Would the Mermaid Princess remain clinging to the outside world?
Or would fate decide to make that woman a subject of Asgard, as happened with Forn?
The answer had not yet appeared.
And so...
They continued reading fate, waiting for the moment that would reveal to them what would happen.
