The Dragon King's son looked at the Crown Prince, then looked at the chains that were restraining the mysterious figure.
He looked surprised.
Then he said:
"Did you just attack someone I was talking to moments ago?"
As soon as the dragon said that...
And before the Crown Prince or the Human Emperor could respond to him, or even calm the situation down...
The dragon suddenly moved.
He charged toward the Crown Prince at terrifying speed and struck directly at him with his hand.
But the Crown Prince was fast as well.
He moved at the right moment and raised his hand in front of him.
Suddenly...
A magic circle appeared in front of him at incredible speed.
The dragon's strike collided with the magic circle.
BOOOOM!
A wave of energy spread through the sky, but the circle managed to block the dragon's strike.
The Crown Prince looked at the dragon and said:
"Why are you attacking us?!"
Then he continued:
"Aren't you supposed to help us capture this person?"
It was clear that the situation was beginning to become even more tense.
Before the dragon could say anything...
And before the Human Emperor could intervene to calm the situation...
Something strange happened.
Suddenly...
A strange white comet appeared in the sky.
It was terrifyingly fast.
It shot directly toward them at tremendous speed, to the point that no one could understand what was happening at first.
No one was able to comprehend the situation.
Before any of them could understand what was happening...
A powerful aura emanated from the white comet.
The aura spread throughout the entire area.
Suddenly...
Everyone felt as though their bodies had become restrained.
None of them could move anymore.
It was as if the sky itself had suppressed them.
The dragon froze.
The Crown Prince stopped.
Even the Human Emperor could not move.
In the next moment...
A beam shot out from the white comet.
The beam shot directly toward the mysterious figure.
Then...
It tore apart the chains that were restraining her.
The chains disappeared in an instant.
The beam took the mysterious figure with it.
Then, at tremendous speed, it headed toward the comet and entered it.
Then the white comet took off, with the mysterious figure with it, moving away at terrifying speed.
Everything was happening so quickly that it was almost impossible for anyone to intervene.
And the moment the comet disappeared into the horizon...
The aura that had been restraining everyone suddenly disappeared.
Everything returned to normal.
The dragon continued staring at the place where the comet had disappeared for a few moments.
Then he said in shock:
"What was that?"
But he did not stop at asking the question.
He began thinking quickly about what had happened.
It was clear that the thing that had appeared from the sky was not ordinary.
It had arrived in an instant.
It had suppressed everyone.
Then it freed the mysterious figure and abducted her without giving any of them a chance to react.
The Crown Prince and the Human Emperor had also regained their ability to move.
The two of them looked at the place where the comet had disappeared.
The Crown Prince waited for a long time until he comprehended what had happened.
As for the Human Emperor...
He quickly came to his senses.
Then he took off angrily after the comet.
He said to the dragon and the Crown Prince:
"I have to catch it!"
Then he looked at the dragon and added:
"I apologize for my son's actions, Your Highness."
He stopped for a moment.
Then he continued:
"It was a misunderstanding."
After that, he took off after the comet at full speed.
He did not want to miss this opportunity.
And he did not want to waste the sacrifice of part of his lifespan in the battle, after he had used his power far too much at the cost of his body during his fight with the mysterious figure.
Therefore, he wanted to capture the mysterious figure no matter the cost.
This was an opportunity that could not be replaced.
The mysterious figure was at her weakest state now, after the numerous attacks that had been launched against her, and after exhausting most of her power in the battle.
For this reason...
The Emperor knew that he had to catch up with her now.
He was not afraid.
And he did not want to let her go.
Rather, he was determined to capture her and discover the truth about her.
The identity of this figure, the source of her power, and her relationship with the imperial family were all secrets that he could not ignore.
And he was willing to risk his life to ensure that this opportunity did not slip through his fingers.
