Chapter 58: Heated moment and Interruption, **½ r18**

The hot springs behind the main residence were one of the few truly private luxuries Tempest had managed to build so far. Steam rose from the large natural pool, the water kept at the perfect temperature by a combination of geothermal vents and magic. The five of them had the entire area to themselves.

Shion and Shuna were currently engaged in a spirited water fight near the far edge of the pool, splashing and laughing like children. Rimuri was happily caught in the middle of it, giggling as she tried to dodge their attacks.

Varion sat with his back against the smooth stone edge of the pool, arms resting along the rim. Prinz had claimed her spot draped lazily along his side, one leg hooked over his thigh, her full breasts pressed warmly against the side of his chest. Her long white hair with its red streak was damp and clinging to her skin, and she looked completely relaxed.

Completely relaxed… except for what her hand was doing under the water.

Her fingers were wrapped around his cock, stroking him slowly and deliberately beneath the surface. Every few strokes she would twist her wrist just enough to make his breath catch. She wasn't being obvious about it but the mischievous little smile on her lips told him she knew exactly what she was doing.

Varion's jaw tightened as he felt himself growing harder in her hand. His voice dropped low, rougher than usual, as he pressed his mouth right against the outside of her ear.

"Prinz… if you keep that up, I'm not going to be responsible for what happens later."

She shivered in delight at the deeper timbre of his voice, he had started doing this more and more over the months after he started sparring with Mililm. He had started getting more dominant in every way and Prinz was all for it. Her golden eyes sparkled with pure mischief as she gave him one long, slow stroke from base to tip.

"Wow," she whispered back, voice sweet and teasing. "Already so hard for me? I've barely even started."

Varion's arm slid down through the water and wrapped firmly around her waist, pulling her tighter against him. His fingers dug into the plush of her hip just enough to make his warning clear.

"Keep going and you won't be walking straight for the rest of the night."

Prinz let out a soft, delighted hum and nuzzled closer, clearly enjoying this new, less-controlled side of him.

A short distance away, Rimuri had stopped playing with Shion and Shuna. She was watching the two of them now, her golden-yellow eyes narrowing slightly as she caught the way Varion's shoulders were tense and the subtle strain in his expression as he tried to keep a normal face. A devious little smile slowly spread across her lips.

She said something quick to Shion and Shuna, then excused herself and began wading over toward them, looking perfectly innocent.

Prinz didn't stop her teasing. If anything, her strokes became a little bolder as she watched Rimuri approach.

Rimuri reached them and, without a word, slid onto Varion's other thigh and leaned into his chest, settling her weight there like it was the most natural thing in the world. Her hand disappeared under the water as well.

Varion's breath hitched when he felt a second hand join Prinz's. Rimuri's fingers were smaller, but no less confident as she began stroking him in tandem with Prinz — one hand working his shaft while the other gently teased the head.

He swallowed hard, trying to keep his expression under control.

Rimuri glanced over at Shion and Shuna, who were still splashing and laughing loudly on the other side of the pool. Satisfied they weren't paying attention, she gave Varion a wicked little grin… then slipped off his lap and looked him in the eye as she completely went under the water.

Varion's head fell back against the stone with a quiet thud as he felt warm lips wrap around him. Rimuri didn't rush. She took him into her mouth slowly, tongue swirling, while Prinz continued stroking what Rimuri couldn't reach and fondled his balls with her free hand. Prinz leaned in and kissed him deeply, swallowing the low groan that tried to escape his throat.

The combination was devastating.

It didn't take long.

Varion's fingers tightened on Prinz's waist and his hand landed on Rimuri's head as he came into Rimuri's mouth. She stayed under until he was finished sucking every bit to ensure none got out, then rose back up with a satisfied little smile, licking her lips.

Prinz kissed the corner of his jaw and purred into his ear, "Good boy." as she stroked him again.

Varion didn't even try to hide the hunger in his eyes as he looked at both of them.

The three of them left the hot spring quietly, wrapping themselves in towels before slipping into one of the private rooms connected to the residence. The moment the door shut behind them, the playful energy from the spring shifted.

Varion didn't give Prinz a chance to say anything clever.

He grabbed her by the waist and fisted the hair on the back of her head then pulled her into a rough kiss, backing her up until her legs hit the edge of the large bed. His mouth moved against hers with clear intent, his hand slid down to grip the back of her neck while the other stayed firm on her hip.

"I warned you," he murmured against her lips, voice low and rough. "I told you if you keep teasing me like that, I wouldn't be responsible for what happens."

Prinz shivered in delight, her golden eyes half-lidded as she looked up at him.

Before she could reply, Varion gave her a light push. Prinz fell back onto the bed with a soft bounce, her towel coming loose around her chest and falling to the sides. Varion was already moving to follow her, one knee on the mattress, eyes dark with intent, one hand was on her breast as the other pinned her in.

That was when the air in the room shifted.

Souei materialized out of the shadows near the wall without warning. He took one look at the scene and immediately froze.

Without a word, he turned his back to them, dropped to one knee, and faced the wall.

"…My deepest apologies for the intrusion," he said, voice perfectly calm and professional despite the situation. "However, this is an urgent matter. I must report it immediately."

Varion let out a low, frustrated growl, his forehead dropping against Prinz's collarbone for a second as he forced himself to stop. Prinz let out a soft, disappointed whine beneath him.

Rimuri sighed, running a hand through her damp hair. "Souei… really?"

"I am aware of the poor timing," Souei replied, still facing the wall. "But Lady Trya has arrived with critical news regarding the safety of Tempest."

Varion exhaled slowly and pushed himself upright. He grabbed a set of clothes and began pulling them on, his movements sharp with lingering frustration. Prinz sat up as well, wrapping her towel around herself again while giving Varion a look that promised they would be finishing this later.

Rimuri was already dressed in a simple robe, her expression shifting into something more serious. "What happened?"

Souei remained kneeling, eyes fixed on the wall. "Charybdis has revived. It is currently moving toward Tempest at high speed. Lady Trya requests an immediate audience to explain the situation."

The room went quiet for a moment.

Varion ran a hand through his hair, forcing his instincts back under control. The edge of frustration was still there, but the urgency of the report cut through it.

"…We'll meet her now," he said.

Rimuri nodded. "Souei, tell Trya we're on our way."

Souei bowed his head once and vanished back into the shadows without another word.

Prinz let out a long sigh as she stood up, already reaching for her clothes. "Of course something like this would happen right now."

Varion gave her a small, wry smile as he finished dressing. "We are picking this up later."

Prinz's eyes sparkled with mischief even as she pulled on her clothes. "You'd better."

Rimuri slipped her hand into Varion's as they headed for the door, giving it a light squeeze. "Come on. Let's go see what Trya has to say."

The three of them made their way to the meeting room in the main administrative building. The heated atmosphere from earlier had been replaced by quiet tension. Varion walked with a slight scowl lingering on his face, while Prinz walked beside him with a faint, knowing smile. Rimuri kept her expression calm, but she was also annoyed, her golden-yellow eyes were sharp and focused.

Trya was already waiting for them when they entered. The younger Dryad sister stood with her hands clasped in front of her, her expression unusually grave. She bowed respectfully the moment they stepped inside.

"Thank you for coming so quickly," she said. "I apologize for the sudden visit, but this could not wait."

Rimuri gestured for her to sit as the three of them took their places around the table. "What happened, Trya?"

Trya didn't waste time with pleasantries.

"Charybdis has revived."

Varion and Rimuri both blinked at the name, exchanging a quick glance. Neither of them recognized it.

"Charybdis?" Rimuri repeated, tilting her head slightly. "I'm sorry, but I don't know what that is."

Trya's expression grew even more serious. "It is a calamity-class monster. A being born from the excess magical energy that leaked from Veldora-sama over the centuries. It is not a normal monster it is more like a natural disaster given form. It controls the skies, possesses incredible regenerative abilities, and is capable of wiping out entire regions if left unchecked."

She continued, her voice steady but urgent. "Worse, Charybdis has already begun creating its familiars, creatures known as Megalodons. These familiars have started taking over the bodies of lesser dragons in the area. If Charybdis reaches Tempest, the damage will be catastrophic."

Varion's expression darkened immediately. His draconic instincts stirred at the mention of something threatening his home and the people under his protection. "How strong is it?"

"Extremely," Trya answered honestly. "Its Magic Jamming ability can neutralize most magical attacks, and its regeneration is on another level. In the past, only beings on the level of a Demon Lord could reliably bring it down."

Rimuri leaned back in her chair, processing the information. "And it's coming here?"

Trya nodded. "Its current trajectory will bring it directly over Tempest within the next few days."

The room fell quiet for a moment as everyone absorbed the weight of the news.

Prinz was the first to speak, her tone thoughtful rather than alarmed. She had been listening carefully, one hand resting lightly on Varion's arm.

"If that's the case," she said, "then we shouldn't just throw everything we have at it from the start."

Rimuri looked at her curiously. "What are you thinking?"

Prinz met her gaze evenly. "Let Tempest's army fight it first. It should be enough to give them real combat experience against a high-level threat. They've been training hard, but most of them have never faced anything on this scale. This could be a valuable opportunity to temper them before something even worse comes along."

Varion turned his head to look at her, clearly considering the idea. His protective instincts wanted to end the threat as quickly and thoroughly as possible, but he could see the strategic value in what Prinz was suggesting.

Rimuri tapped her fingers lightly against the table, thinking it over. "It's risky… but you're not wrong. If we can control the engagement and keep casualties low, it could strengthen our forces significantly. Also with the full potions it wouldn't be hard to keep everyone alive if we do it right"

Trya watched the three of them quietly, waiting for their decision.

Varion finally spoke, his voice low but resolute. "We'll hear the full details first. Then we decide how to approach this."

Rimuri nodded in agreement. "Trya, tell us everything you know about Charybdis and its familiars in as much detail as possible. We need to start preparing immediately."
