"Is it over?"
Hatake Kakashi looked at the darkened screen.
Somehow, it felt strange. That enemy named Otsutsuki Momoshiki was powerful, yes, but something about it felt lacking. It seemed a little too simple.
"It kind of feels like this Otsutsuki Clan isn't as strong as I imagined. Is he at a level I could handle?"
Uzumaki Naruto felt that Otsutsuki Momoshiki's performance had been fairly average. At the very least, he was not as powerful as they had imagined.
From what they had seen so far, the two Otsutsuki were indeed strong, but at most, they were only at Super Kage Level. That absolutely did not match the degree of caution Kaede Kitahara had shown toward them.
Was it just their imagination?

As he spoke, Uzumaki Boruto put on his Forehead Protector. At the same time, he opened the Jogan in his right eye, gripped the Kusanagi Sword, and charged toward Kawaki.
Only then did the screen finally fade to black.
The age of ninja was over?
Everyone stared at that inexplicable line that had floated across the screen. Then they looked at the older Uzumaki Boruto from an even further future, and at Konoha, which had already become ruins. They were all dumbfounded.
Counting this, this should have been the second time they had seen all of Konoha flattened to the ground.

But this time was different. Everything in the entire Hidden Leaf Village had been destroyed, including Hokage Rock.
"What exactly happened in the future?"
Jiraiya stared at everything in the image in shock.
Hadn't they already defeated Otsutsuki Momoshiki?
How could the future still turn out like this? And who was this person named Kawaki?
For a moment, countless thoughts flooded into their minds. Everyone felt like they were not going to sleep tonight.
Destroying Konoha was something not even that Otsutsuki had managed to do, yet this person named Kawaki had done it?
What exactly happened in the future?
Why had Kaede Kitahara never mentioned this so-called Kawaki in his diary before?
The video ended, and today's diary ended with it. No one would answer their questions.
This future was far too dangerous.
Namikaze Minato's expression was grave, but he also relaxed slightly. This Otsutsuki Clan was very powerful, but in the future, they were still defeated by Naruto and Sasuke. Believing in their child's future was what parents ought to do.
Of course, that was only when there was no other choice. If there was any choice at all, what parent would ever want their child to face danger head-on?
"At least those two aren't what you'd call Six Paths Level…"
Namikaze Minato let out a breath of relief.
According to Kaede Kitahara's diary, above Super Kage Level was Six Paths Level.
In the Shinobi World, there were still existences capable of dealing with Super Kage Level opponents. For example, Nagato was also Super Kage Level, though only at the entry stage.
And above him, there were still Senju Hashirama, Uchiha Madara, Naruto and Sasuke at their peaks, and others.
But when it came to Six Paths Level, those were existences even Kaede Kitahara sounded afraid of when he mentioned them in his diary.

Namikaze Minato sighed.

Jiraiya looked at the video in the diary, but there was no answer there for him.
"The Otsutsuki, huh? But by the time they arrive, would I even be able to lift a blade anymore?"
Jiraiya could not help grumbling.
Judging from the current situation, he would at least be in his seventies by then, about the same as the Old Man Third Hokage was now.
At that point, he would already have one foot in the grave. Even if he knew the future would face a problem like this, there would be nothing he could do.
And that was not even mentioning this Kawaki, who would only appear once Uzumaki Boruto had reached that age. By then, Jiraiya would be in his eighties at least. They could not seriously expect him to hobble onto the battlefield with a cane, could they?

Tsunade sighed. She felt like she truly could not protect the Hidden Leaf Village that her Great Grandfather and Second Great Grandfather had left behind.
If it were only struggles within the Shinobi World, she would not be afraid. But what were they supposed to do when aliens invaded?
"Wood Release may be the only way. If I had Great Grandfather's strength, maybe I wouldn't have to fear these alien gods."
Tsunade's eyes grew incredibly resolute, as though she had made up her mind.
"Against a future like that, against enemies like that, the Hatake Clan's Kenjutsu won't be of any use at all. When the time comes, maybe I'll have to rely on this eye Obito gave me."
Hatake Kakashi touched his Sharingan. This battle had shaken him too deeply.
Otsutsuki Momoshiki's existence gave him a far greater sense of pressure than Nagato had.
"And there's Otsutsuki Momoshiki's Rinnegan too… heh. This world really is exactly like Kaede Kitahara joked. It's a Legend of Eyes."
Hatake Kakashi racked his brain, thinking about Otsutsuki Momoshiki's weaknesses. First of all, that Rinnegan had to be taken out directly. Otherwise, none of his Ninjutsu would be of any use.
It would even be absorbed by the enemy, magnified, and thrown back at him.
