The Old Hunter was a man of his word; he would kill your whole family if he said he would.
Goki, having witnessed the horrific state of the Loken Tank test subjects, declared that he would kill Loken Williams within a minute, and he intended to do just that.
Boom—
"Stop him! Subject 1!"
The air trembled, and a violent ripple suddenly appeared in Goki's empty field of vision.
Under Loken Williams's command, an invisible shockwave swept out from the innermost part of the laboratory.
Instruments in the lab were easily flung into the air, as if an invisible giant wave was overturning everything in its path.
Previously, Goki might not have been able to observe the identity and location of an attacker, only taking hits passively and searching for clues from other objects blasted away in the scene.
But this time, it was different.
Goki had directly leveled his Arcane abilities to 20 points, transforming him from an Originium Arts idiot into an excellent professional Caster.
No, to be precise, even stronger than a professional Caster!
The fluctuations of Originium energy appeared almost tangible in Goki's eyes; if he wished, he could instantly capture those unobservable objects.
And now, he could see four giant arms outlining an untouchable Originium Arts Domain in the air, centered around the small cat curled up in the culture tank, its expression filled with pain.
Each arm seemed to be five or six meters long and could seemingly expand or contract at will, radiating immense power.
The composition of the arms was difficult to discern—air, Originium energy, and certain ethereal blue substances.
Those were spirit, illusion, will, or Soul, the illusory remnants left behind after a creature's death.
Normally, after a creature dies, this power would largely dissipate. Goki wasn't sure if they became fodder for the Great One or if there was some Reincarnation function, but if the creature itself possessed powerful strength, special properties, or a strong will, then the so-called "Soul" would linger in the material world.
Perhaps Terra's science would not acknowledge the existence of such things, but Goki had dealt with these Soul powers for a long time. His Insight now exceeded thirty points, and these invisible existences were visible to him with his naked eye.
Those arms belonged to different spiritual entities, protecting the being who used them as if protecting their younger sister.
And that small blue-haired cat, struggling with a pained expression, was naturally familiar to Goki.
She currently had no name; as the sole survivor of the experiment, she was given the codename Subject 1.
But... she would have a name.
This time, Goki would give her the most beautiful name in advance.
If Goki hadn't intervened, the experiment on this small cat would have continued until she completely lost control and went berserk, crushing the entire Loken Tank into scrap metal, and Loken himself would have been ground into powder.
Now that Goki killed him early, it was a quick end for him—Goki was truly a great benevolent person!
Afterward, the small Feline would be sent to Rhodes Island. Having lost human emotions and barely remembering anything, she would search for the meaning of her life there.
And she would be given a name—a beautiful name.
