Jay's POV.
"Kade! Wait" I said running behind him while he was crawling fastly around the living room.
Keifer has gone to office.
I stopped breathing heavily while Kade was crawling with surprising speed giggling nonstop.
"Babyyyyy stop I'm tired" I said
My phone buzzed.
I see the caller id and it was king of ulopong calling.
I picked it immediately.
"Hello" I said dramatically flopping on the
L-shape sofa.
"What are my babies doing" he asked
"You little troublemaker is giving me hard time. He's crawling all over the house in soooooo much speed" I complained to him.
He chuckled.
"Did you eat lunch" I asked.
"Yeah " he replied.
"Kade!? Baby it's dada's call " I called Kade who was sitting under the table
As I said he came running towards me.
"Da da da da...." He said crawling faster.
He crashed in my legs and I bend down to pick him and put him on my lap.
"Hello champ. Giving mama hard time?" Keifer talk to Kade gently.
Kade took phone from my hand and babbled loudly shoving his face in the screen.
"Ehh...ba...da...ta...."
I laughed keifer also chuckled.
"He's asking when are you coming home " I said to keifer.
Kade nodded.
"See!" I said pointing towards kade.
"I'll come soon. Till then take care of each other okay" he said and we both nodded obediently.
"Good. Now I have to go love you" he said .
"We love you too" I said
he gave flying kiss.
I gave the kiss back and guided Kade for flying kiss.
"Byeee"
"Baa...ba"
We bid our byes and cut the call.
"Okay let's cook something,I'm hungry" I said and stood up with Kade on my hip.
We went to kitchen and I made two sandwiches for me and off course Kade want that too so I just gave him a small piece of bread.
He's 5 months old so he'll start eating from next month.
It's not like he didn't asked for food we eat but we can't Give a baby real food for six months.
After eating Sandwiches I went upstairs and sat on the longue watching TV sitting in the couch when Kade was nursing.
He fell asleep while feeding.
I tooky online classes for 3 hours.
I came back downstairs and laid him on couch surrounded by pillows and went to kitchen to cook dinner.
I cooked salmon steak, lechon, bake pizza and salad.
I was cooking when I heard Kade crying, I quickly went to him.
"Baby mama is here" I said and held him on my arms.
He calmed down and rested his head on my shoulder. I kissed his head and wiped his tears.
I continued while Kade was on my hip
"We're cooking dinner for dada" I said cheerfully
"He's coming home!" I added and Kade clapped giggling.
I bring kade's Toys in the kitchen and put him on the floor.
"You play here mama has to finish this" I said and Kade consumed in colorful blocks.
Finally everything is ready.
I looked at the time and it's about to 7 keifer must be on the way.
It took me 2 hours making dinner.
I put all dishes in oven to keep them warm and cleanes the kitchen.
I sat on the couch Kade on my lap. We both were waiting for keifer.
It's 7:30 and keifer is still not here.
Then.
The doorbell rang.
I quickly stood up and ran towards the main door.
I opened the door and my blood ran cold.
Keifer wasn't there.
Instead.
There stood keizer.
I instinctively tighten my hold on Kade.
Keizer's eyes moved from me to Kade.
I shifted Kade burring his face on my shoulder.
Silence.
He broke the silence "Well... So it's true that my son has a son. My grandchild!" He said and I took a step back.
"What..do you want?"I asked trying to keep my voice steady.
"Nothing just I wanted to meet my grandson" he said casually like everything is normal.
"You met him so you can leave now" I said closing the door but he stopped the door my his hand.
"Why so hurry?" He asked stepping in forcefully.
"Leave" I said my voice carried the hint to warning.
"Come on daughter in law let me spend some time with my grandson" I said sitting on the couch.
"Hmmm, did you cook dinner? I can tell from the aroma that the food is delicious" he added.
I said nothing.
"Ehh...da....ba.." Kade babbled confused.
"Why are you here?" I asked again.
"I told you that I'm here for my grandson" he said smiling like a devil.
"You—"
"What the fuck are you doing here?" Someone shouted from behind.
Keifer.
Relieve washed over me that my knees almost gave up.
I turned around to see keifer walking towards us anger and rage visible in his eyes.
He pulled me behind him shield us both with his body.
" Relax son. I'm here to meet my grandson"
"Bullshit" keifer said
Kade startled at keifer's tone and started crying.
" It's okay baby mama and dada are here don't worry we are here " I said softly rocking him
" Keifer.. you are scaring him" I whispered to keifer rocking kade
He looked at is and his eyes soften.
He looked at crying Kade and my pale face.
"Go upstairs in the room and lock the door " he said to me
"Huhh? I'm not going anywhere leaving you alone her" I said
He rubbed his temple
" Jay. Just listen to me at least for Kade " he said firmly.
I looked at Kade who was crying then back at keifer And nodded.
"So protective" keizer said mockingly.
We ignored him and keifer signal me to go upstairs.
I turned and went upstairs keifer was watching us until we disappear.
I reached out room and locked it.
"It's okay baby I'm here " I Said softly to Kade rocking him and pacing around the room.
(KEIFER POV)
Jay went upstairs with Kade then I turned to look at him.
"Why are you her?" I asked my voice dangerously calm
"To meet my grandson" he replied.
I laughed bitterly.
"You Lost that right" I said
"now get out" I added
"Watch your tone! I'm your father" he said taking a step towards me.
"Oh now you remember" I said mockingly.
"I remembered but you forget" he said with a smirk.
"Fuck off and get lost" I shouted.
He smirked.
"Be ready" he said walk out while smirking.
My body was shaking with rage.
He got out and I closed the door.
I took deep breaths and calm myself.
I fixed my expressions for them.
I went upstairs and knocked on the door.
"Jay.." I said and the door opened
Jay run into my arms with Kade.
I wrapped my arms around then kissing their foreheads.
"Everything's fine. He's gone " I said softly
She looked up at me.
"What did he say?" She asked.
I couldn't tell her.
"He was asking 50% of the company" I lied
She thought for a moment.
"What did you say" she asked.
" I didn't say anything and he left" I said and she nodded trusting me completely
It hurts the most that she trust me so much and I was still lying.
I hugged them again
"Did you eat?" I asked changing the topic even though I knew she wouldn't. Not without me.
"I was waiting for you. I cooked" she said .
"You cooked? Is the kitchen safe?' I asked with fake shocking expression.
She rolled her eyes.
I laughed.
"Let's go " I said and we came downstairs.
"You sit I'll arrange the table " I said to her.
He put Kade in his high chair.
"I'll help" she said putting the dishes.
The food was looking delicious
"You made all this?" I asked genuinely surprised by this much dishes made by jay.
She hates cooking.
"Yeah" she said proudly.
I put food in plates serves her and myself.
I took a bite and she was watching me for any reaction.
It was really delicious. More than I expected
"Do you like it?" She asked hopefully.
I stayed silent and her smile wavered but still there was hope.
"No..." I started and her smile vanished and tears was about to form " I love it " I quickly finished.
Relieve washed over her face than her she threw a napkin at me.
I cought it laughing.
Kade was giggling watching us.
"Now eat"she said annoyed.
"No"
"No?"
"I will eat if you feed me" I said
"Are you a baby? You have hands use it " she said
I wrapped my arms around her waist she yelp and I pulled her on my lap.
"Keifer.." she hissed trying to free herself.
"I cooked for you. So eat yourself." She said then softly "you pissed me off" she muttered and I heard.
"Okay than I'll feed you" I said and held a bite for me.
She rolled her eyes and opened her mouth to took a bite.
Then she also feed me still.
"My wifey still loves me" I said and took a bite.
She hit my arm.
We feed each other.
I washed the dishes while jay was feeding Kade scrolling through the phone.
I finished the dishes and came to lounge.
Kade drift off.
I kissed his hairs.
"Let's go to sleep" I said and took Kade from her
We reached our room and I put Kade into his crib and laid beside her on the bed.
I pulled her by waist and and put my on leg on her.
"Good night, wifey" I whispered.
"Good night hubby" she said and kissed me.
We kissed deeply then slept.
We slept tangled with each other.
