Jay's POV
(Next day)
I woke up because I had to pee.
I went to washroom and freshen up and when I came back Kade was sitting on the bed.
We don't have crib here so he slept between us.
"Good morning baby" I said sitting on the bed and pulling him onto my lap
He made a sleepy sound and leaned against my chest.
I kissed the top of his head.
I looked at keifer who was sleeping.
I smiled and leaned forward to kissed his forehead.
He was awake late last night because he was working god knows what, maybe his company? but he was making calls and was on his laptop and phone.
I woke at night and he wasn't on the bed so when I went out to check and he was sitting on the couch the laptop was open on the table and he was talking to someone on phone.
When I asked him to sleep he said he would sleep after finishing up.
I don't know when he slept.
Kade babbled pointing towards keifer.
"Shh baby let dada sleep he slept late last night " I whispered to kade.
Then I took off his clothes and diaper and gave him a warm bath and wear him a polar bear onesie.
I just love dressing him like that because I really like stuff toys.
"My bear is ready" I said pulling a hud on his head.
He was laying but bouncing excitedly.
He's so much energy as compare to me even twice of me.
After we both freshen up I quietly slipped out of the room Kade on my hip and I turned off the lights.
I went downstairs and turned on the lights. I looked outside of our floor to ceiling window and the weather was gray even it's 8am and was snowfalling lightly.
The glass was foggy.
But the penthouse was warm because heater's were on.
"Okay baby let's make 🥞 for dada" I said and headed to kitchen.
The kitchen was stocked with everything.
I decided to make pancakes.
I took pancakes powder from the shelf.
I put Kade on the counter and I put a bowl beside him. First I cracked two eggs then add pancakes powder, milk, vanilla essence and everything needed.
I was stirring the batter and Kade was chewing the back of wooden spoon.
I turned on the electrical stove on put the pan onto it.
I poured the batter in the pan when I saw Kade dipped his finger on the batter and was about to put it on his mouth.
"Heyyy" I stopped his hand before it reached his mouth.
"We don't eat raw batter" I said wiping his finger with tissue.
I glanced back at the pan and the pancake was burning.
I quickly flipped it and it was burned.
Ahhhh why can't I cook without burning?
I put that pancake aside and picked kade.
"You little troublemaker sit here " I said making him sit on the floor with wooden spoon his his hand.
I made another pancakes and with the grace of God the pancakes was perfectly golden.
It gave me motivation.
I was making pancakes when I felt pair of arms hugging me from behind.
"What are you doing?" He whispered in my ear his voice was husky.
Is that even a question ?
"Dancing " I replied sarcastically. " Obviously cooking" I added.
He chuckled and kissed my neck "why didn't you wake me up?" He asked.
"I didn't want to disturb you. You slept late last night" I said
"But still" he said kissing temple
I put the pancake on other ones and turned in his arms facing him.
"I make pancakes and everything is fine,see" I said and pecked on his lips.
He smiled and before he could say anything I turned around.
"Hey. I want more" he said in a sulky voice and turned me.
"Keifer I'm making breakfast" I said as an excuse.
"So what? I want my breakfast first"
"I'm making your breakfast"
"But you already have my breakfast" he said and before I could say anything he kissed me.
The kiss was soft at first then eventually it becomes deep.
We were kissing passionately when...
"Ehhh" Kade babbled loudly and throw the spoon at keifer's legs from behind.
We pulled apart immediately.
"Are you kidding me?" Keifer said turning around.
I tried to control my laugheter.
Kade crawled towards us.
Crawled.
I froze. Keifer froze his annoyed expression turned into surprised.
Kade also looked surprised. He looked down at himself then at us with wide eyes.
"My baby, come" I said sitting on my knees
He looked hesitate then slowly he crawled a step then another then came to me.
He reached me and launched himself on me. I caught him my eyes were teary and at the same time I was laughing.
"My baby is grown up " I said kissing his forehead again and again.
Keifer also knelt beside us.
"Good job little man" he said kissing his forehead.
Kade giggled at our affection.

We were eating breakfast and Kade was on the floor crawling and proud of himself.
"He's growing up too fast" I said to keifer.
"Hmm. But he'll never have a childhood like us" he said holding my hand.
"Never" I said and kissed his hand.
"Let's go for shopping today" keifer said.
"Okay"
We finished our breakfast and keifer was doing dishes.
"We are going for shopping" I said excitedly to Kade spinning him around.
He giggled.
I put him on couch surrounded by pillows and gave him elephant puzzle with colorful puzzle pieces.
I vacuumed the rug and clean the house while he was busy.
keifer also joined me.
" It's for a while then we'll shif to our mansion" keifer suddenly said and I turned to look at him
"Mansion?'
"Yeah. It is under construction and we'll have it's interior as you want " he said.
I was stunned.
I took a while to process.
" You are saying that this luxury penthouses most people wish for is temporary? Our second option?" I asked stunned.
"Yeah" he said casually and I was standing there wondering is he insane or just super rich.
"We'll go tomorrow to the mansion and you have to decide it's interior " he said setting the chairs.
" I'm going to decide?"
"Yeah. You once said that you'll built your house the way you want so obviously you are going to decide " he said.
He remembered.
My eyes burned with tears but not soar it was from overwhelming emotional because how much he cares and remember everything.
I hugged him tightly sobbing softly.
" Hey, hey what happen?" He said and wrapped his arms around me caressing my hair.
"You are so good. The best husband. The best partner" I said my face buried in his chest.
"Because,You deserve it" he said kissing my forehead.
How did I get so lucky?
I looked up and kissed his lips and he kissed back.
Fortunately Kade didn't intrupted us this time.
We pulled apart and I whispered"I love you, a lot"
"I love you too" he said and hugged me.
"Keifer I think we should go on a shopping when we'll stay mansion because it's better to have less things for shifting" I said still in a hug.
"It's okay don't think about it" he said
"But we already have essentials and enough stuff" I said.
"No. We just bring some clothes so let's go for shopping" he insisted.
I signed.
"Fine but we'll just buy clothes and essential stuff" I said looking up at him.
"Done" he said and kissed my nose.

We reached the mall keifer opened the passenger seat door for me and took Kade in his arms and I stepped out.
The mall was pretty big and luxurious.
We entered the mall and first we entered Zara and bought clothes for us.
"How is it" I asked keifer.
"Nice" he said and took the jeans and top from me and put in the basket.
We did a lot of shopping for me, for keifer and especially for Kade.
We bought different toys for him because he's growing up so we also need to educate him.
We bought Lego set, blocks, books for learning babies and many more.
We went for dinner outside.
The car stopped Infront of a fancy restaurant.
"How do you know I'm hungry?" I asked dramatically.
"I know because I'm your husband" he said and got out of the car also guiding me.
We entered the restaurant and it was warm and comforting because outside is very cold.
A waiter came.
"Welcome Mr Watson" he said and I was a little stunned.
Off course everybody knows him.
Keifer nodded.
"A table for two in less crowded place" keifer said
"Sure. Come" the waiting said and guided us to a corner table.
We sat down and Kade was sitting on the table.
"Menu" the waiter said placing the menu on the table
Keifer give the menu to me.
I ordered a lot of food.
I was a little embarrassed not because of Keifer. No never because of him I'm very comfortable around him more than anyone.
but because what would that waiter think? Well the order is for two people so he might think keifer eats a lot. Yeah.
We ate dinner and headed back to our car. Kade was sleeping now.
Finally we got home.
"Home." I said and flopped on the couch with Kade while keifer carried out shopping bags.
Kade was half sleep.
Keifer Locked the door and went upstairs to kept the bags on the rooms.
I followed him with Kade in my arms.
We reached the room and keifer put the bags in cupboard and I changed Kade diaper and clothes.
I put him on the bed and kissed his forehead.
"Sleep well" I whispered to him.
I went to washroom for shower.
And the relive was instant as warm water touched me.
I came out after shower in my sleep ware.
"You are looking tired." Keifer said walking towards me.
"Yes I am" I said
He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me towards his chest.
"Then you should rest" he said kissing my cheek.
"Hmm" I hummed leaning against him.
"Go to shower and sleep" I said pulling apart and pushed him towards the bathroom.
He growled "you always spoil the moment" he said and went to washroom.
I laid beside Kade and pulled him in my arms pressing him against my chest and he buried his face in my neck unconsciously.
I was half asleep when I felt keifer came back and he kissed our foreheads and slept beside us.
