Connor called an emergency meeting.
"I found the source of the online harassment. It's coming from a digital marketing firm in Manhattan. Guess who their biggest client is?"
"Volkov," Rosa said.
"Volkov. Specifically, his law firm. They hired this company to 'manage their online reputation.' But what they're actually doing is destroying yours."
"Can we prove it?" I asked.
"Prove it enough to sue? Probably. But that means more legal battles. More exposure. More ammunition for them to use against you."
"So what do we do? Just take it?"
"We could fight back," Alessandro suggested. "Hire our own firm. Flood the internet with positive stories. Drown out the negative."
"That's expensive," Rosa pointed out. "And it doesn't address the root problem."
"The root problem is that Volkov won't stop,"
Dante said. "He's going to keep coming at us in every legal way possible until we what? Break? Give up? What does he want?"
