Chapter 188 - Chapter 188 – The End of Time

The frozen universe trembled.

Not from Kronos.

Not from Absolute Time Dominion.

From Yura.

The countless stars surrounding the battlefield had become perfectly synchronized. Their movements no longer contained hesitation. No wasted motion. No instability. The galaxy she had created now moved according to her will alone.

Kronos stood silently.

For the first time since the beginning of the battle, uncertainty appeared in his eyes.

Because he understood.

The Yura standing before him now was completely different from the one who had first taken a step inside stopped time.

She wasn't adapting anymore.

She had already adapted.

She had mastered it.

The stars brightened.

One.

Ten.

Hundreds.

Thousands.

Their light illuminated the frozen universe.

Kronos immediately activated Chrono Dominion.

The gray world returned.

Reality bent toward him once more.

His existence became the highest priority inside the battlefield.

Yet this time...

Nothing happened.

The stars continued moving.

Kronos's eyes widened.

Impossible.

Chrono Dominion should have dominated everything inside Absolute Time Dominion.

Yet the stars ignored it.

Yura slowly raised her hand.

Her glowing eyes reflected an entire galaxy.

"I finally understand."

The stars accelerated.

Not toward Kronos.

Toward the sky.

Toward the center of Absolute Time Dominion itself.

Kronos immediately felt danger.

Real danger.

For the first time in centuries.

He moved.

Silver energy erupted around him as he launched forward at maximum speed.

The battlefield shattered beneath his steps.

His fist raced toward Yura.

A strike intended to end everything before it could happen.

But Yura vanished.

A trail of starlight crossed the frozen universe.

Then another.

Then another.

Kronos chased her.

Again.

Again.

Again.

The two became flashes of silver and gold racing across existence itself.

The stars continued gathering.

Brighter.

Brighter.

Brighter.

Until finally—

Yura stopped.

The entire galaxy of light converged into a single point above the battlefield.

A crystal.

A massive crystal hidden beyond the frozen heavens.

Kronos's eyes widened completely.

For the first time...

Fear appeared.

Because he recognized it.

The Core.

The true anchor of Absolute Time Dominion.

The object that stabilized the stopped universe.

The object nobody had ever discovered.

Nobody except Yura.

She smiled.

Not arrogantly.

Not proudly.

Just tired.

As if she had finally solved a puzzle.

"You stopped everything..."

Her voice echoed through the silent cosmos.

"...but you forgot one thing."

The stars behind her exploded with light.

"What?"

Yura looked directly at him.

"Everything has a weakness."

Then she moved.

The fastest movement of the entire battle.

A beam of starlight crossed the frozen universe.

Kronos reacted instantly.

His body moved.

His mind calculated.

Chrono Dominion activated.

Gravity surged.

Temporal energy erupted.

Yet it wasn't enough.

For the first time...

He was too late.

Yura's hand touched the crystal.

A single crack appeared.

Silence.

Then another.

Then another.

The crystal shattered.

CRAAAAAAACK!

The sound echoed across the entire universe.

The stars above Reikosha shattered.

The frozen oceans cracked.

The stopped galaxies fractured.

Absolute Time Dominion began collapsing.

Kronos froze.

"No..."

His voice was barely a whisper.

The silver energy surrounding his body began breaking apart.

Tiny cracks spread across his arms.

His chest.

His face.

Because Absolute Time Dominion wasn't merely his ability.

It had become connected to his existence.

And now...

It was breaking.

"Kronos..."

Yura's voice was calm.

The cracks spread further.

"No..."

His body began crumbling.

Silver fragments drifted into the air.

The master of time looked toward Yura one final time.

Not with hatred.

Not with anger.

But with understanding.

Then he laughed.

A small laugh.

The laugh of someone finally defeated.

"...Interesting."

The cracks consumed him.

Light erupted across the universe.

And then—

Time returned.

The ocean waves crashed.

Rain fell.

Stars moved once more.

Across the world, existence resumed.

At Reikosha Academy, everyone suddenly stumbled.

The students gasped.

Teachers blinked in confusion.

Frozen attacks resumed their motion before dissipating instantly.

Shougo looked around.

"What... happened?"

Kimimaru tightened his grip on his Zweihander.

Tyouro nearly fell over.

Reji looked completely lost.

"Did anybody else feel like something weird just happened?"

Dracula frowned.

"I couldn't move."

Aoi slowly looked toward the sky.

The academy grounds were devastated.

Entire sections had been destroyed.

Trees were uprooted.

Buildings had collapsed.

The battlefield looked as though a natural disaster had passed through it.

Then someone noticed.

"Yura."

Everyone turned.

Far away, standing alone among the ruins, Yura remained upright.

Exhausted.

Covered in injuries.

Yet standing.

Shougo's eyes widened.

Even he could sense it.

Something impossible had occurred.

Reji stared.

Tyouro stared.

Kimimaru stared.

Nobody spoke.

Because nobody truly understood what had happened.

Only that somehow...

Yura had won.

A faint smile appeared on her face before she finally collapsed backward onto the broken earth.

The tension immediately vanished.

Tyouro laughed.

"She's alive!"

Reji exhaled loudly.

"That idiot nearly gave me a heart attack."

Even Kimimaru allowed himself a small smile.

For the first time in a long while...

Reikosha Academy felt relief.

Then Judas stepped forward.

The woman silently surveyed the destruction surrounding the academy.

Broken buildings.

Collapsed training grounds.

Destroyed trees.

Shattered walls.

She sighed.

"...What a mess."

Golden energy spread from her fingertips.

The earth trembled.

Broken stone rose into the air.

Destroyed walls rebuilt themselves.

Shattered classrooms reformed.

Fallen trees returned to their original positions.

Roots reconnected.

Branches regrew.

Leaves returned.

Like time itself was being reversed.

The students watched in amazement.

Within minutes, much of Reikosha Academy had begun restoring itself.

Judas continued working quietly while everyone else celebrated Yura's victory.

Far away...

Beyond the restored academy.

Beyond the moving stars.

Beyond the returning universe.

The frozen battle between Lady Chõko and the Dimensional Clan finally resumed.

And somewhere in the distance—

A familiar laugh echoed.

"YAYAYAYAYAYAYA!"

The war was not over.

It had only just begun.
