Chapter 85 - Chapter 85 - False Salvation

Shougo entered the faculty. Tine was already awake, sitting at her desk. She asked him, "Hey Shougo, did you see Judas today? Or is she already in her class, teaching the students?"

Shougo's eyes widened as he noticed the coffee on Judas' table was still unfinished. Suddenly, his face turned angry, and he burst out of the Reikosha Academy with surprising speed, using Hikari energy!

Meanwhile, in Grimreach, Lady Chõko continued laughing crazily as she drank hot water and poured it onto Judas.

"Look how hopeless you are! Yayayayaya!"

"What do you want from me?" Judas glared at her.

Lady Chõko smiled wider. "Your life. I'm going to destroy every teacher in the Reikosha Academy, then take Paul Ereuos' sword! Yayayayaya!"

Judas' jaw tightened. This woman was crazy… i wouldn't let her do that. Lady Chõko kicked her arm, making her scream.

"Do you think I'm weak?! Yayayayaya! I have a powerful Reiko that can destroy Grimreach, and I have Dimensional Cleave, the power that God gave me!"

"Yayayayaya! God gave me powerful energy, advanced energy that no students in Reikosha Academy can use. They only master base energies, how weak!"

Judas' eyes widened. Dimensional Cleave? A Dimensional Cleave could slash through space itself… this woman was more powerful than i thought.

"Now I can see the fear on your face, and you realize no one can beat me, not even Shougo Takahano, Tine Marles, or Griffin Larbhoar, Yayayayaya!"

Judas looked around and then up at her. She didn't know what to do in this place. It seemed impossible to kill this woman.

In the Reikosha Academy, Yura was still asleep. Kairo sat beside her, praying she would wake up. Hero stood up and activated his card. Ishika raised her eyebrow at him. A diamond card?

Sighing, Ishika stood and looked at Hero. "What's your name anyway? I forgot to ask."

Hero smiled. "I'm Hero Tanaka, a card manipulator." He winked. Ishika looked at him strangely. "Hmm… good name, I guess."

Hero laughed and walked away. Kimimaru adjusted his Zweihander. Ishika watched him. "Hey, how did you manage to handle that Zweihander, hm?"

Kimimaru paused. "I trained when I was sixteen to hold this sword. It's my favorite."

Ishika leaned closer. "Woah… so you're strong? Big muscles? That means…"

She covered her mouth, already thinking boldly. Kimimaru shook his head. "I'm gonna go. Stay with Kairo."

Ishika smiled. "Yes~" Kimimaru blushed slightly before leaving the room with his Zweihander. Ishika looked at his sword display on the wall. "This is so big… I wonder how he holds this sword… it looks normal for him."

She touched the sword. Flsk! She stumbled back, realizing the sword knew she wasn't Maru. Ishika smirked, standing up and leaning closer. "Hey, I'm Maru's best friend. Why won't you let me touch the sword?" she pouted, acting cute and sad.

She waited for a response, but there was none. Frustrated, she glanced at Kairo, who had been silent the whole time.

"Hey Kairo," she said, her voice turning cold. Kairo looked up, eyes widening slightly. "Uh… h-hey."

Ishika smirked. "Check Yura's forehead. Is it still hot?"

Kairo nodded and placed his hands on Yura's forehead. "Looks… she's fine now… but she hasn't woken up yet."

Ishika nodded and sat next to him.

"You've been here since yesterday? You really care about her…"

"Y-yes… I do. She's my leader, the leader of our group. She's also like my coach, teaching me…" He paused and looked at his hands. "To be honest…"

Meanwhile, Lady Chõko laughed as she slammed her heels onto Judas' hands. "Yayayayaya! You're not leaving here alive! You're going to die, and this is where your soul belongs!"

Judas glared at her. "You can try… but you can't destroy the Reikosha Academy. All my students will beat you… without mercy."

"Oh really?! Right now I'm laughing! You don't know my speed! How fast I am! Ha! Faster than any teacher in Reikosha Academy…"

"Even Shougo Takahano! He might control light, but he's not faster than me. A true god will save himself, but me? I'm going to rule this world!"

"That's your stupid goal? Pathetic…"

"UGH!" Lady Chõko kicked her. "How dare you say that to me?! You think I'm not going to kill you?! I am, but making you suffer is much better than killing you instantly."

"I could kill you instantly if I wanted, but no, I want you to suffer. The more you suffer, the more horror you feel… Judas Emerson… your last life comes later…"

Lady Chõko grabbed a knife and threw it at Judas. It stabbed her leg, making her scream. "AHH!"

Lady Chõko smiled widely. "A woman like you deserves to die by my hands… my own hands! Yayayayaya!"

The sun rose over Reikosha Academy; it was now noon. Inside the room, Ishika looked at Kairo. "Kairo… you're close to Maru, right?"

Kairo nodded. "Yes… why?"

"Can you promise me you won't tell him?"

"Sure…"

Ishika blushed slightly and looked away. "To be honest… I secretly like him."

Kairo's eyes widened. "Oh… like romantically?"

"Y-yes… sometimes it feels weird how I annoy him. I know he doesn't like anyone else, or maybe he has a type… maybe I'm not his type… but just don't tell him."

Kairo looked at her. She liked Maru? And Maru didn't have a type… "I won't… I promise. I'm surprised you like him. But… how do you like him?"

Ishika paused. "He's quiet… so calm… He might get annoyed with me, but he doesn't push me away. He doesn't trust women much, so I don't think I have a chance."

"He's more focused on his sword… and his training… maybe that's his dream…"

"I know I don't know everything about him… but he feels like the moon to me… he's so quiet… and I feel like I'm the sun."

Kairo's eyes widened, his heart racing faster. That's how she described the person she loved… how does it feel to love someone else?

Ishika looked down at her hands. "I've always loved the moon… and always liked midnight… watching the moon…"

Kairo looked at her. How lucky Maru was… "I see… that's how you describe the person you love… he's actually lucky."

"You think so?"

Kairo smiled and nodded. "Yes, I think so, though I've never had a crush on anyone else…"

Ishika smiled, stood up, and held Kairo's hands. "I hope you find someone better for you," she smirked and walked away.

Kairo watched her leave. How romantic… he sighed and looked out the window at the sun… and the moon…

Outside the school yard, a boy threw a rock, activated his Reikou energy, and caught it. "Got you! Now I'm going to be the best Divine Warrior and the strongest!" He paused as he noticed a shadow behind him and turned around.

His eyes widened. This was the woman the announcer had described floating, long hair… "W-who are you?" His legs were already shaking.

The woman looked down at him coldly. "I am Himiko… the False Salvation."
