The Knight Academy, with Marshall taking on the role of dean, and Steve, Pelos, and Mark as instructors, allows any Free People with fifty merit points to send their descendants to study. The Knight Academy is a three-year program; upon graduation, one can join the Eagle Cub Knight Order. If unsuccessful, they can transition to become a Knight's Squire or an academy lecturer.
As for the Affairs Academy, the current Eagle Territory's dozen Civil Servants serve as instructors, with Joseph as the dean. All Free People can enter, it's a three-year program, with tuition set at five Silver Coins per year. Upon completion and passing the assessment, one can become an Apprentice Civil Servant, which is the only academy openly requiring payment.
Of course, this is only on the surface.
