After instructing his team members, the lead police officer turned his head and politely said:
"Old man, besides her, there should be a male trafficker, right?"
The old man shook his head, "I don't know, never seen him."
Damn!
The lead police officer immediately sensed something was wrong and quickly looked around.
Wherever he looked, the villagers were all scratching their heads and smiling innocently, as if this person never existed.
Some of the braver villagers even spoke up simply.
"Officer, you must be joking. We've never seen any man, only this woman came to our place."
"Yes, yes, with so many of us, how could we possibly lie?"
"Officer, you're wronging us. If there really was a man who came here, wouldn't we know? Would we hide him from you?"
"I can testify, only one woman came here, never seen a man. If you don't believe me, ask her."
The villager was referring to the woman trafficker who had recently gone out more frequently.
