Chapter 205 - Chen Shi Loses His Favor

Seeing Dragapult's utterly defeated expression, Chen Shi couldn't help but burst out laughing.

"Come on, it's just some Pokéblocks. I can make more. Look at you—what a pathetic face."

"You'd think I've been starving you or something."

Dragapult snapped out of it and shot Chen Shi an angry glare. With a sweep of his tail, he shoved him hard.

Caught completely off guard, Chen Shi lost his balance and fell flat onto the ground.

"Ow—!"

"Oh, so you've got guts now, huh? You dare hit me? I'll teach you a lesson!"

Chen Shi jumped to his feet and lunged at Dragapult, trying to grab him.

But Dragapult had already anticipated it. He soared into the air, stretched his claws to pull his mouth wide open, and made an exaggerated face at Chen Shi.

"Draaa~"

"Don't get cocky—take this!"

Chen Shi picked up a small stone from the ground and hurled it upward.

Dragapult tilted his body and easily dodged it, continuing to taunt him with an infuriating grin.

Left with no choice, Chen Shi resorted to his ultimate move—

Calling for backup.

"Jirachi! Come here, there's something fun!"

Dragapult froze.

What was this about all of a sudden?

Why call Jirachi?

What "fun" was there?

Up on the second floor of the villa, a small hand pushed open the window. Jirachi poked its head out and immediately flew down excitedly.

"Chen Shi, I'm coming!"

"If there's something fun, Jirachi wants to play too!"

"Good, good. You can join in," Chen Shi said with a sly grin, glancing up at Dragapult. "Today we're playing a game called Angry Dragapult!"

"We pick up small stones and throw them at Dragapult. Whoever hits him more times wins."

"The winner gets to decide what we eat for lunch today. How about it?"

"Okay! Okay! Jirachi wants to play!" Jirachi cheered, eyes curving into happy crescents.

Immediately, it used its psychic power to gather a large pile of small stones and placed them neatly in front of them, looking eagerly at Chen Shi, waiting for the signal.

But Dragapult wasn't having it.

He immediately flew down and protested firmly.

"Draaa!"

(No way! Absolutely not!)

What kind of nonsense game was this?!

"Whether you agree or not doesn't matter," Chen Shi snorted. "Alright, Jirachi, we'll start… now!"

Before he even finished speaking, Chen Shi had already picked up a stone and hurled it at Dragapult.

"Draaa!!"

Startled, Dragapult shot upward to dodge.

Jirachi glared at Chen Shi, puffing up in annoyance. "Chen Shi, you're mean!"

But it didn't back down.

Unlike Chen Shi, it didn't bother picking up stones one by one.

Instead, it used its psychic power—

All the stones rose into the air at once.

The next moment, they shot forward like bullets, cutting through the air as they rained down on Dragapult.

Chen Shi stared at the scene in shock.

He hadn't expected Jirachi to go all out like that.

If those hit… it would hurt. A lot.

Above them, Dragapult looked at the overwhelming barrage of stones and completely froze.

Was this even fair?!

Not even bothering to dodge, he immediately activated Phantom Force—

and vanished into the Distortion World.

"Eh? Where did little Dreepy go?" Jirachi tilted its head, confused.

Weren't they playing a game?

Chen Shi chuckled helplessly and scooped Jirachi into his arms. "Alright, you win this round. What do you want for lunch?"

Jirachi's eyes sparkled. "Really?"

"But I didn't even hit Dragapult…"

"Really. As real as it gets."

Seeing Jirachi's innocent confusion, Chen Shi couldn't help but laugh.

If all those stones had actually hit, Dragapult would probably be crying for days.

As they chatted and laughed, Chen Shi carried Jirachi back toward the house.

High above the farm, Dragapult reappeared, watching them leave. He finally let out a sigh of relief.

Then, with a pitiful whine—

He drooped in midair.

This was bullying!

Back home, his grandparents were already seated at the dining table.

Seeing him return, his grandmother waved him over.

"Chen Shi, come have breakfast."

"Oh, right—Gardevoir, go call Cynthia and Phoebe down."

"Gardevoir~"

Gardevoir responded softly, set down the pot of millet porridge on the table, and disappeared in a flash of teleportation.

"Well, this is rare—I'm actually the first one awake today," Chen Shi said cheerfully as he sat down, scooping himself a bowl of porridge and drinking it with gusto.

"Chen Shi, I want some too!"

Watching him eat so happily, Jirachi grew curious.

Chen Shi smiled helplessly. "Be good, Jirachi. This probably isn't your kind of taste. I'll get you some Honey later, alright?"

At first, Jirachi looked a little disappointed—but the moment it heard about Honey, its eyes lit up, and a small glimmer of drool appeared at the corner of its mouth.

Clearly, it remembered how delicious it was.

Chen Shi tapped its forehead lightly and pointed at it. "And you say you're not a foodie? Then what's that?"

Jirachi wiped its mouth shyly and gave a sheepish smile.

The two elders couldn't help but laugh at the adorable sight.

They had long known that their grandson had brought back a Legendary Pokémon—Jirachi, one of Hoenn's myths.

At first, they had been worried. Legendary Pokémon were incredibly powerful, after all.

But after spending a few days together, they had completely fallen for the little one's charm and no longer felt concerned.

At that moment, a voice came from upstairs.

"Huh? What's going on? Why are you all laughing so happily?"

Phoebe bounced down the stairs, with Cynthia following behind her.

"Oh, Cynthia and Phoebe—come have breakfast!" Grandma Chen called warmly, already reaching for bowls to serve them.

Cynthia quickly stepped forward. "Grandma Chen, it's alright—we can serve ourselves."

"Yeah, Grandma Chen, I'll do it myself," Phoebe added, taking the bowl from her.

"Alright, alright, you two do it yourselves then," Grandma Chen said with a smile, not insisting.

Meanwhile, Chen Shi stared at his now-empty bowl and spoke up cautiously.

"Grandma… could you maybe get me another bowl?"

Grandma Chen turned and shot him a glare.

"If you want it, get it yourself!"

Chen Shi: "..."

Silently, he picked up his bowl and served himself another portion of porridge.

Then he lowered his head and started eating without a word.

Silence filled the air.

Then—

"Hahaha! This is too funny!" Phoebe burst out laughing at his defeated expression.

Even Cynthia couldn't help but smile.

At this point, in this household—

Chen Shi's status had officially dropped to the very bottom.
