Ashley looked at Caden, then at Logan, evidently guessing some misunderstanding had occurred here.
"Logan," Evelyn's voice was very soft, "and... someone else... hurt you?"
Caden frowned, raised his hand, and wrapped it around Evelyn's shoulder, coldly saying, "As my wife, you must unconditionally believe in me!"
Caden knew that Logan's hand injury, which prevented his concert from proceeding smoothly, was a major concern in Evelyn's mind.
However, Caden never believed he was the one who injured Logan.
After all, he had only kicked Logan once and hadn't done much else, so how could it coincidentally result in such severe damage to Logan's hand?
Something else must have happened between these events!
At this moment, everyone's eyes fell on Logan, waiting for his response.
But Logan stood there dumbfounded, his gaze empty yet complex, even showing some grievances, without saying a word for a long time.
Evelyn grew anxious, wanting to urge him but not knowing how to speak up.
