"What's the matter?" Caden Lockwood raised an eyebrow, "Up until now, you're still planning to leave?"
"I..." Evelyn Morgan hesitated.
She wasn't trying to leave, it was just that sometimes, it seemed like she didn't really have a choice.
"Do you really want me to go and teach Logan Shaw a lesson before you'll behave and listen?" Caden Lockwood snapped.
"Why are you bringing up Logan again!" Evelyn Morgan's tone wasn't pleasant, "You must have a crush on him for real!"
"Who exactly has a crush on him!" Caden Lockwood raised his voice, "How many times have you said you like him, love him? Even if it's just a joke, why don't you try saying you love me?"
"I!" Evelyn Morgan's eyes widened.
Looking at Caden Lockwood's intensely angry face, the words "I like you" caught in Evelyn's throat and couldn't come out.
She found herself so strange.
Why was she able to unabashedly tell Caden Lockwood that she liked Logan, yet seemed unable to admit she liked Caden?
