Listening to Eleanor Keaton's words, Evelyn was completely embarrassed.
She glanced up and down at Eleanor and said softly, "But I don't want to be friends with you!"
How strange!
Why would she want to be friends with a woman who obviously wants to steal her husband?
"But I've already made up my mind!" Eleanor said in a firm tone.
Then, Eleanor grabbed two cups of coffee, handed one to Evelyn, and said with a smile, "Come! Let's put an end to our enmity with a smile! Although I've done some bad things to you lately, it all came back on me in the end!"
Saying this, Eleanor was the first to take a sip of her coffee.
Evelyn pursed her lips, hesitated for a moment, and also began to drink her coffee.
Not long after drinking the coffee, Eleanor needed to go to the bathroom and insisted that Evelyn accompany her, saying there were fewer people in the bathroom and she was scared to go alone.
