Damian Sinclair sighed, "Eyes and mouths are on other people; what can I do?"
Bella Acker pouted.
Damian Sinclair laughed, squeezing her hand, "Worried I'll be snatched away by other women? Why not take action quickly?"
"Who cares." Bella Acker scoffed and rolled her eyes at him.
The two exited the community and waited for a taxi by the roadside. Maybe it was the heavy snow, but they waited for quite a while. Bella Acker's hands were almost frozen stiff, yet not a single taxi came by.
Damian Sinclair said, "Snowy days make it hard to get a cab."
Bella Acker checked her phone; it was already past eleven. As they waited, there were fewer and fewer cars on the road, and the snow kept getting heavier. Eventually, she sighed, "Forget it, I remember there's a guest room. You can sleep there."
"Should have known we wouldn't get a cab and stayed inside instead of freezing out here. Let's go back."
