Bella Acker was talking to the old man on the phone while organizing her bag, making sure she had everything she needed.

"I'm taking a taxi over. Old man, are you back home or sitting in the hallway?"
"Huh?" The old man was stunned and immediately changed his words from at home to, "In... in the hallway, sitting down, can't move, oh dear."
"Then stay there and don't move, I'll be there in no more than forty minutes."
