Lin Zhou turned his head to look outside the window. The snow on the trees was blown off by the north wind, a chunk falling to the ground. He lowered the car window, and his thoughts drifted back to the time when the three of them had dinner together.
Both Lin Hai and Tian Xin are very strong-willed people, taking different stances and finding it hard to agree with each other.
To him, both were important presences in his life.
But whenever the two met, they clashed, with neither yielding. How could he help them dissolve their grudges?
Before he could think out a solution, Lin Hai returned to the car.
"How did it go? What did the doctor say?" Lin Zhou turned his head to ask.
Lin Hai didn't say a word. He reached out to fasten his seatbelt, crossed his arms, and leaned back into the seat, lost in thought.
"Play a song!" he said.
Lin Zhou reached out to turn on the music, and the ethereal notes once again resonated in the car.
"Change it!"
