The Heavenly Dao struck down seven bolts of lightning in a row, all swallowed by Yuan Chun. She happily upgraded her Thunder Ability and provocatively grinned at the sky.
The law enforcement officers went from being initially terrified to later completely calm, as the lightning couldn't truly strike them anyway; it was just a scare tactic.
They were not afraid at all.
After sending Qin Dashan back to the station for incarceration, they braved the heavy rain to Qin Family Village and arrested Qin Fang. The Heavenly Dao was furious, even angrier, and struck down a lightning bolt as thick as a water barrel, nearly scaring the officers to death.
With a wave of her hand, Yuan Chun directed the lightning towards Qin Fang.
Frightened, Qin Fang rolled her eyes and fainted.
The barrel-thick lightning struck Qin Fang's belly, causing her body to tremble in pain. However, due to the protagonist's halo protecting her, she wasn't killed but suffered a miscarriage.
