Pross Town, Wit Castle.
This territory was originally the baronial fiefdom granted to Mage Wit by the Purple Thorn Duke.
Now, after the Higlind family rebelled against the Kas Duchy, this small town has become their family stronghold.
Geographically, Pross Town is very close to the southern Dark Forest, with a large buffer zone separating it from the Kas Duchy's border city 'Visalia'. To the north, the Dark Nest and Centaur shield Pross Town from troubles originating from the Kingdom. This location is arguably the safest place on the Wilderness Plains.
From a population and economic perspective, over several years, the Higlind family intentionally relocated more people to Pross Town. Now, Pross Town has nearly fifty thousand residents, and if you include the scattered village populations around the town, it totals to about sixty thousand. This scale of a town can indeed be called a city.
