The answer, naturally, was: the tavern's door was gone, replaced by a huge hole.
If the tavern hadn't been quite tall, around five or six meters high, the roof might have been torn down by these muscle monsters as well.
Gray stopped, hesitated for a moment, and finally walked into the tavern.
With a boom, dust flew everywhere, and the originally four-meter-high hole now turned into over five meters tall. The tavern building trembled slightly, but its quality was obviously good, as not a crack was seen on the walls.
"Commander Gray? Come, come, join us for some drinks and meat!" Vice Commander Big Goblin lit up upon seeing Gray and quickly invited him to sit down.
Gray followed suit and sat on the ground with them. Before he could even get settled, a beer barrel and a whole golden, crispy, oil-dripping roast lamb appeared in his arms.
