"Oh, you're talking about that old antique." Kira was packing, not even bothering to turn her head, her tone seemed somewhat indifferent.
"It just arrived yesterday, a collector went bankrupt and it's here on consignment. Why, are you interested?"
"How much is it selling for?" Riven's voice was filled with awe and fascination.
Kira paused her work, turned around, and announced an astronomical figure: "Fifty thousand US Dollars."
This price, like a cold bucket of water, instantly doused all the flames of fantasy in Riven's eyes.
She stared blankly at the board, and after a few seconds, exhaled deeply, displaying a bitter smile mixed with helplessness and acceptance.
