He picked up the hardwood pin that had been prepared long ago and walked to the first hinge.

This groove was meant to accommodate the stick at the bottom of the door panel serving as the support point.
Next, he dragged the heavy door panel to the front of the door frame, tilted it upright, allowing the top of the door panel to lean against the top beam of the door frame.
He crouched down, pressing his shoulder firmly against the door panel to prevent it from falling, while his hands began to work.
