Sierra Summers was held in Caleb Sterling's arms, reflecting on the past that Grandma Sterling had shared with her. She sighed deeply, holding her phone, hesitating whether to call Grandma Jennings.
Then the screen showed an incoming call from "Grandma Jennings."
Sierra hastily answered, "Grandma!"
"Sierra, you know much of the past now, don't you?" Grandma Jennings chuckled.
Sierra felt a lump in her throat, opened her mouth, and honestly said "Yes," admitting as she shared the dinner plans with Grandma Jennings made by the Sterling, Summers, and Jennings Families.
There was a brief pause on the other end.
"All right, of course, I have to go on such an important day for Sierra."
Grandma Jennings sighed, "Some things truly don't need to be hidden anymore."
Sierra just realized.
Perhaps Grandma Jennings chose to live alone because she didn't want to be disturbed by those noisy and chaotic sounds.
