Caleb Sterling gently touched her face, his Adam's apple moved slightly, "How much do you like me?"
Sierra Summers didn't know how to describe it; she planned to kiss him a few more times. But Caleb Sterling stopped her, as he was no longer satisfied with merely kissing Sierra.
Caleb Sterling closed his eyes.
But not here, not now.
Even so, Caleb Sterling hadn't finished the conversation with Sierra. He casually suggested, "I have a day off this weekend. Do you like hot springs?"
Sierra was in his arms, her eyes slightly closed as she rested. Caleb's hand gently caressed her back. Just as she was about to fall asleep, this question brought her back to full alertness.
The alcohol merely gave her a numbing illusion, making Sierra bold and impulsive because deep down, she was very willing for things to be this way.
But Caleb's question... Sierra grabbed a piece of pastry, took a bite, and seriously considered it while eating.
Caleb waited patiently.
