The Doctor's "Negotiation"
"Relax," Il Dottore said calmly, arms crossed.
"If I truly killed them, you would never forgive me."
"I came to negotiate. I won't do anything that risks ruining that."
Not Hostages… Yet
Inside the Sanctuary, Lumine and Paimon both sighed in relief.
"Looks like we're not hostages…"
That was dangerously close.
Trading one Gnosis for Lumine was already insane.
If it became two—
That would be historic stupidity.
Still…
They didn't expect The Doctor to actually negotiate.
And more importantly—
How exactly would Nahida take control of this situation?
They immediately focused back on the screen.
The Truth About The Doctor
Nahida lowered her guard slightly—but stayed alert.
"You said you left Sumeru. Why are you here?"
The Doctor replied calmly:
"The one who left… was me."
"The one still here… is also me."
He shook his head.
"Even the God of Wisdom is bound by assumptions. Disappointing."
Nahida thought for a moment.
"…You mean there are multiple versions of you?"
The Doctor smiled.
"Good."
Then he explained:
People at different ages think differentlyHe wanted to preserve all perspectivesObservation requires multiple viewpoints
But one dimension was missing:
Time.
So—
He created segments of himself.
Each version from different ages.
Each acting as an independent individual.
Chat Reaction: "What the hell??"
Everyone lost it.
Lumine:
"So there are multiple Doctors across Teyvat??"
Paimon:
"That's insane!"
Collei trembled.
"He experimented on others… and himself too?!"
Yae Miko smirked.
"A true madman in the name of knowledge."
Kamisato Ayato said seriously:
"Someone who pursues knowledge without limits is the most dangerous."
Alhaitham added:
"Compared to him, Azar is a child."
Diluc clenched his fists.
"So even if you kill him… he won't die completely."
Exactly.
That's the problem.
The Doctor isn't just strong—
He's hard to eliminate permanently.
Nahida's Judgment
Back in the scene—
Nahida spoke coldly.
"You are insulting the concept of life."
"Life has rules. Each one has meaning."
"You can't break them just because of arrogance."
For once—
The Doctor laughed.
"Excellent."
"It's hard enough for humans to reconcile with themselves."
"Let alone different versions of themselves."
The Fatui "Corporate Culture"
Nahida changed the topic.
"If you were in the Akademiya all along—why didn't you interfere?"
The Doctor answered simply:
"Would a researcher interfere in their own experiment?"
"I observed."
"I didn't interfere."
Chat Goes Savage
The chat immediately turned into chaos.
Lumine:
"Got it. This is Fatui corporate culture. (doge)"
Keqing:
"In Liyue, Signora plays Tartaglia."
Yae Miko:
"In Inazuma, Scaramouche plays Signora—then she gets executed."
Nilou:
"In Sumeru, The Doctor plays Scaramouche and discards him."
Charlotte:
"So basically: everyone thinks they're manipulating others… until they get manipulated."
Paimon added:
"The Tsaritsa must be so proud~"
Silence.
Even the Tsaritsa couldn't defend that one.
Honestly—
Her team is a mess.
The Real Goal
Back to the confrontation.
Nahida's expression turned cold.
"You treat the 'God Creation Project' as just an experiment?"
"You were about to create a god."
"How would you face your own Archon then?"
The Doctor shrugged.
"I am a scholar."
"I leave those questions to the version of me that faces them."
Then he stepped forward.
"Now…"
"Time to collect the results of the experiment."
"Such as—"
He stopped in front of her.
"The Gnosis."
Power Gap
The tension skyrocketed.
Everyone knew the situation:
Nahida → weakened, inexperiencedThe Doctor → top-tier Harbinger, absurd abilities
He spoke calmly:
"You understand the difference in power."
"You cannot use that Electro Gnosis in combat."
Nahida didn't move.
"You said you came to negotiate."
"Why does this sound like robbery?"
The Doctor laughed.
"I'm just stating facts."
"But as a scholar—"
"I will give the God of Wisdom proper respect."
Nahida's Counter
Nahida turned her back to him.
And took out the Electro Gnosis.
Then—
She said something that froze everyone.
"If I destroy this Gnosis…"
"And awaken the Heavenly Principles?"
Chat Explosion: "WHAT?!"
Everyone lost their minds.
Lumine:
"So THAT'S her move?!"
Paimon:
"This is NOT like Nahida at all!"
Zhongli said calmly:
"A desperate but effective measure."
Venti laughed:
"If I can't beat you—I call someone stronger."
Raiden Shogun stayed silent.
Because she knows—
This is serious.
Why This Is Genius
Nahida isn't threatening Dottore directly.
She's threatening something bigger:
👉 The Heavenly Principles
👉 The absolute authority over Teyvat
If the Gnosis is destroyed—
There's a chance it triggers Celestia's attention.
And if that happens?
The Fatui's entire plan could collapse.
The Doctor's Reaction
For the first time—
The Doctor hesitated.
"Awaken… the Heavenly Principles?"
He stared at the Gnosis.
Then spoke slowly:
"You think that's possible?"
Nahida replied calmly:
"The Gnosis represents Celestia's authority."
"If it's destroyed…"
"Will they remain silent?"
Then she looked at him sharply.
"Do you dare gamble on that possibility?"
Checkmate
The Doctor went quiet.
Then—
He smiled.
"…A gamble?"
"I expected logic. Proof. Reasoning."
"Not this."
He stepped closer.
"But…"
"This is a brilliant move."
"As a scholar—"
"I cannot ignore this possibility."
He sighed.
"Very well."
"What are your terms?"
Nahida Takes Control
She turned back.
"The Electro Gnosis is my war trophy."
"You want it?"
"Then pay the price."
The Doctor smirked.
"A price?"
"Interesting."
"What do you want?"
Nahida looked straight at him.
And dropped the real bomb:
"Erase your other segments."
