"Rias, do you have a basement or a large space I may use to train?" Vesper asked
"Yes, we have a training ground. But we also own the territories for a section of the Tempest Mountain...It is filled with wild monsters, and I believe you will gain more from it," Rias offered
"Well, that sounds perfect. How soon can I enter it?" Vesper asked
"I will guide you and the other there tomorrow. Issei and Asia also need the training," Rias responded.
"Great. I will see you tomorrow, when you all have a good night," Vesper said as he made his way to the room set for him.
Entering the large room that was beautifully designed and with a bed that seemed as soft as clouds, Vesper opened his system.

"Wait, why did Seraphina's grade and potential rise so much?" Vesper asked
[Well, I don't want to be crude, but she received the seed of a god, so she received some of your divinity]
"So they aren't stuck at one grade; they can become stronger as I give them divinity."
[Yes]
"Is the only way to give them divinity through my seed, or can I do it in other ways?"
[Yes, you can infuse it into their souls simply by connecting to them. It will take some time, but I recommend waiting until you have an ample supply of constant divinity.] Astrid explained
"I see I will make sure to keep that as a reminder." Vesper said as he closed his system
Lying his head down, it did not take long for Vesper to fall asleep. As the sweet embrace of sleep took over, Vesper felt something within him change, a feeling of being away, but the comforting feeling of slumber.
As his eyes shot open, Vesper looked around to find himself standing in a pitch black void, like when he first met Astrid, but more ominous.
As he looked around and only found pitch black, Vesper was going to try to force himself awake when, in the distance, a pair of dark purple lights appeared.
Walking towards the pair of lights, Vesper found himself taking step after step for what seemed like hours until he reached the source.
Reaching the lights Vesper was met by two giant glowing purplr eyes that seemed to be the infinte vois itself. It seemed to be the embodiment of darkness, at least what he found made out of it.
Staring into the mystical, enchanting eyes, Vesper reached out his hand as he slowly walked closer; at the same time, it seemed like a hand reached out to him.
As his hand met the one made of pure darkness, Vesper felt a sudden wave of ice-cold frost wash over him as the darkness around him began to crack, exposing more of the purple light.
"What the hell?" Vesper said as he attempted to pull his hand away.
Trying to pull away, Vesper found that multiple hands had grabbed him, holding his legs, torso, and arms, locking him in place.
All he could do was watch as the light cracked the darkness and more pairs of eyes began to grow from the cracks.
Looking into the eyes, Vesper saw things. Creatures, people, monsters, and gods all consumed, changed, and became part of the never-ending darkness. And in the center, he saw himself chained up in the air, hung like a slaughtered pig.
As he stared at this version of himself open its eyes, Vesper saw the same eyes that filled the void, the eyes that had been burned into his mind.
"Another...chance...another...failure...another shadow," the version of him spoke its voice ice-cold, causing Vesper's mind to break
Suddenly as it all started a blinding light blinded Vesper as his eyes shot open.
Finding himself looking at the ceiling of his bed, covered in sweat, and it was now daytime, Vesper sat up and leaned against his bed.

"A-astird...what just happened?" Vesper asked, his hands shaking from everything he saw.
[That was the darkness. The darkness that existed before all of creation. It is where half of your power originates from. Null]
"So why did I see null? Why did null speak to me...why did I almost die from it?" Vesper asked
[I cannot answer that, because I don't know. It would be arrogant of me even to attempt to understand]
