Chapter 5 - car, vampire and Wednesday

[In the garage]

[First person pov]

"Is this really all the cars we've got?" I asked with an annoyed, disappointed expression, glancing back at Uraume before turning my attention back to the line of supercars.

I walked past most of them until I stopped in front of one covered by a black tarp.

"Sorry, Lord Takahashi, but these are all the cars we currently own," Uraume replied in a sad, almost ashamed tone. Then she added, "Oh… that car was your father's."

As I walked over to the covered vehicle and pulled the tarp off, my eyes widened slightly.

"My father had great taste," I said to no one in particular as I stared at the black 1967 Chevrolet Impala. It instantly reminded me of Supernatural, the TV series I used to watch in my past life.

I ran my hand across the hood before looking over at Uraume.

"Where are the keys for this car?" I asked as I peered through the window.

"They're on the key rack," she answered.

I walked away and came back a moment later with the keys in hand. Unlocking the door, I climbed into the driver's seat.

"This car is gorgeous," I muttered, running my hand along the steering wheel before inserting the key and turning the engine on.

I looked at Uraume standing outside my door.

"Will you be coming with me into town?" I asked as I closed the door and fastened my seat belt.

"I wish I could, Lord Takahashi, but I need to clean the house. I hope you have fun," Uraume replied in a tone that sounded oddly annoyed.

"That's okay then, Uraume. I'll see you later."

I drove out of the garage and headed down the long driveway toward the front gate.

[In a small town in New Jersey]

Assuming the supernatural was public knowledge in this universe, you'd think finding some kind of supernatural nest would be easy.

But after two hours, I'd had no luck.

So either the outcasts didn't do nests like they did in most media… or I was just stupid.

"I really wish I had a way to tra—"

I stopped mid-sentence.

"Oh my god… I'm a moron."

I could sense cursed energy.

And if I assumed these outcasts produced their own unique cursed energy signatures, then I could probably track them.

I closed my eyes and focused.

Cursed energy flowed all around me.

Almost instantly, I sensed hundreds of unique signatures scattered throughout town some stronger than others.

[Outside an abandoned farmhouse]

I'd been staking out the nest for an hour now, and I'd noticed one thing:

These vampires were your stereotypical kind.

They has somone tied up inside and they seem to be an outcast

But ive got honestly had one question do vampires need to use the toilet?

Actually, never mind.

Right now, I wanted to fight.

I walked toward the farmhouse door and knocked a few times.

I sensed one of the vampires approaching.

Without hesitation, I reinforced my arm with cursed energy and punched straight through the door.

I grabbed the vampire, yanked him outside, and hurled him into the ground.

[Third person pov]

Kenshi walked toward the vampire lying on the ground. The wounded vampire called out to his friends inside the farmhouse, and within seconds the other seven vampires rushed outside as fast as they could. They froze at the sight of Kenshi standing over their friend's decapitated body.

Kenshi slowly turned toward them, licking the blood from his fingers with a wide, bloodthirsty grin spread across his face.

The tallest and largest vampire roared in fury as his claws and fangs extended. In an instant, he seemed to vanish, only to reappear behind Kenshi. He swung his claws downward, but they suddenly stopped inches away from Kenshi's body. The vampire stared at his frozen arm in confusion. "What is this?!" he shouted angrily as he tried to force his arm closer.

"This is called Infinity," Kenshi answered calmly, glancing at the vampire's motionless hand. "It divides the space between me and anything else an infinite number of times. The closer something gets, the slower it becomes."

The vampire growled. "So if I can't touch you, then you can't touch me either?"

"Yeah, you're right," Kenshi replied with a grin. "But I can deactivate Infinity on any part of my body."

Before the vampire could react, Kenshi grabbed his face with one hand. The last thing the vampire heard was Kenshi whispering:

"Cleave."

A split second later, the vampire's head hit the ground. Kenshi casually dropped the severed head beside the corpse and turned back toward the others. Rolling his neck, he slowly began walking toward them.

"So… who's next?" The remaining vampires charged at him together. Kenshi simply stood there, allowing them to attack, but every strike stopped before it could touch him.

The vampires quickly realized their attacks were useless. "Is it my turn now?" Kenshi asked. In less than a second, he plunged his arm through one vampire's chest and ripped out its heart. He dropped the heart to the ground just as he sensed another vampire attacking from behind.

Kenshi leapt into the air and performed a somersault over the vampire, causing the attacker to crash into one of his allies. Before either could recover, Kenshi tore another vampire's arms off and ripped its head clean from its body.

Only four vampires remained.

Finally realizing they were hopelessly outmatched, they turned and fled toward the massive cornfield, hoping to lose him among the stalks. Kenshi smirked, deciding to try sukuna's technique. He raised his arms into a bow-like stance, and a flaming bow with a blazing arrow formed in his hands.

"Fuga," he said firmly.

The flaming arrow shot into the cornfield, instantly igniting it in a raging inferno. The flames spread rapidly, turning the field to ash and burning the fleeing vampires alive within it.

(A/N: this is my first time writing a fighting scene sorry if it was bad)

[First person pov]

Now that the fight was over, I decided to check on the person who had been watching the whole thing. They seemed to be the one the vampire had tied up and they seems to have been watching since the beginning. I teleported in front of them and took a closer look.

What I saw shocked me a little it was a girl in that know all to well.

She was short, with very pale skin, dark brown eyes, and jet-black hair styled in two very long braids, with bangs framing her face. If I was to guess her name i would answers with Jenna ortega or Wednesday Addams.
