The competition came to an end. The three winners were chosen. One couple, although they lasted longer than the others, lost on a technicality. The position they chose was the wrapped dancer. They changed the position from the dancer to a standing missionary position.
When they heard the reason for their loss, they couldn't help the sadness they felt. Still, they gracefully accepted their loss. They did receive a consolation prize, each. It was up to them whether they wanted to use it or not.
That night, Ember watched the CL growing until it got to one million CL. She was so happy that she jumped on Aiden and refused to let go.
"We finally got it," she laughed. She rolled around on the bed in her happiness. When she finally relaxed in Aiden's arms, she asked. "Do you think they'll actually keep it up?"
"Unlikely. After the threat is gone, they might revert to the same behaviour," he replied, stroking her hair.
"Can't you give me some good news?" she grumbled.
