If the Symbiotes wanted to invade this world, they would first have to ask whether the countless evil spirits and demons roaming it would allow it.
They would also have to see whether the alien invaders who had long coveted Earth would agree.
And beyond that, they would first need approval from the Titan Loki at the center of the Earth.
We've been plotting over this planet for ages, lurking for hundreds, even thousands of years.
We've fought each other relentlessly just for the right to be the first to invade Earth.
Countless evil precursors have clashed in bloody battles against the forces of justice, with casualties beyond count.
And now some outsider dares to come here and run wild?
That's outrageous.
In your world, I don't care.
But here, you follow the rules and wait your turn.
Try to cut in line? We'll kill you.
Gwen grew even more confused.
Seeing her expression, Luke projected the image he had seen earlier at the Ancient One's place, a map filled with Red Skulls and bloodstained crosses.
"What is this?"
Gwen stared at the map, puzzled by the blood-red markings covering it.
"The Red Skulls represent demons, the bloody crosses represent evil spirits, the humanoid symbols represent alien invaders, and the giant beast symbols represent Titan Beasts…"
Gwen listened as she scanned the map again and again, yet she could barely find a single area that looked truly safe.
She slowly raised her head, her expression blank. "How did you even survive?"
Luke shrugged. "We fight."
"If one comes, we kill one. If two come, we kill two. Whoever dares to show their head dies."
Gwen fell silent.
She had thought her universe was already dangerous enough, but she never expected this seemingly peaceful world to be a hundred times more deadly.
Even before the Symbiotes arrived, evil spirits were already everywhere.
Adding one more Symbiote didn't seem like a big deal, did it?
It was just one more marker. Everyone could squeeze together. There was always space.
Peter Parker leaned over to take a look, then froze on the spot. "Are you… are you kidding me?"
"Our world is this dangerous? Why didn't I know any of this before?"
Luke raised an eyebrow. "Well, now you do."
"Maybe I should go wash my eyes and pretend I didn't see anything. Is it too late?" Peter Parker's heart pounded.
Luke shrugged. "Suit yourself. But let me put it this way. The moment you come into contact with the supernatural, you no longer have a choice."
"Remember, the supernatural attracts more of the supernatural. Even if you don't go looking for it, it will come looking for you."
Peter Parker was still very young. He didn't know what he should do, nor could he fully understand what Luke had just said.
But Gwen deeply understood it.
"Parker, Luke is right. The day you gain power, you can no longer stand by and do nothing."
"This is the fate of every Spider-Man, every Peter Parker!"
"Just like me back then. After being bitten by that spider, I never imagined that within just one year, Earth would be destroyed by outsiders…"
Peter Parker seemed to understand a little more.
But he still couldn't grasp the key point.
Gwen shifted her gaze from Peter Parker to Luke and said seriously, "Maybe your world is very strong, but you'd better eliminate the first wave of Symbiotes before they grow stronger."
"If the Symbiotes manage to summon Knull, the God of Symbiotes, then even if you win in the end, the losses will be devastating."
"Don't worry. I'll take a trip to Malaysia. But before that…"
Luke suddenly turned his head in a certain direction. "Come out, Mephisto. Even from three streets away, your sulfurous, filthy, rotten aura is impossible to miss."

Gwen and Peter were both startled. They followed Luke's gaze but saw nothing.
In the next instant, however, a suffocating sense of danger rose from nowhere.
Then, an elderly man in a black suit, with graying hair but a vigorous presence, appeared near the rooftop.
Mephisto cast a slightly surprised glance over Luke and the other two, seemingly impressed that Luke had detected him immediately.
He elegantly removed his round hat and held it to his chest like a gentleman.
"I apologize. I didn't mean to interrupt your conversation. As a proper gentleman, I can assure you that I was absolutely not eavesdropping."
Luke naturally knew Mephisto hadn't overheard anything important. The moment that large red dot appeared on his 3D map, it had already been locked onto.
At most, he had only heard Gwen's last sentence.
But in response to Mephisto's explanation, Luke sneered. "Devil, spare me these clumsy performances. Even if you disguise yourself as an angel, you won't fool me."
Mephisto showed no anger at Luke's cold reply. He simply smiled, like a wolf in sheep's clothing.
"Of course. After all, you are His Excellency Midgardian Thor, the one who killed the clone of the Demon King Samael on Earth."
"Your divine power blankets the land, striking fear into countless evil spirits and demons."
"So I did not come here to fight someone as powerful as you, but to propose a deal."
"Pardon my skepticism, but I don't make deals with devils."
Luke shook his head. Without waiting for Mephisto to continue, he instantly teleported in front of him. Violent thunder crackled as it slammed straight into his chest!
Mephisto did not dodge. As the lightning struck, his body turned into intangible blood mist, completely ignoring the force of the thunder.
He even had time to speak.
"Your Excellency Luke, do you remember Jason? He recently made a deal with a powerful Hell Lord. Soon, he will return to bring fear and slaughter to the human world."
"This information is my sincerity. As long as you agree, I can help you completely erase Jason's soul!"
Luke let out a cold laugh. A strange flow of light flickered as his hands became coated in a layer of smooth, black energy.
Then, with a backhand grab, he seized the intangible blood mist itself.
Right before Mephisto's horrified eyes, Luke raised his hand and punched his right cheek, blasting his head apart into a cloud of blood mist!
The mist surged backward like a retreating tide, withdrawing more than ten meters before condensing back into a solid form.
Mephisto stared at the energy wrapped around Luke, his expression filled with uncertainty and shock. "What kind of power is that?"
"Armament Haki."
Even Luke hadn't expected it to be this effective. It had actually managed to injure Mephisto's intangible form.
Mephisto searched his memory but couldn't identify it at all. His mind was filled with confusion and disbelief. Before he could think further, Luke was already closing in again!
"Your Excellency Luke, I can grant you an immortal body, immense strength to restrain Symbiotes, and supreme power to suppress countless evil spirits and demons!"
The moment Mephisto spoke, Luke flicked his finger. A brilliant beam of light shot out, blasting straight through him!
"I don't trust the promises of someone I can easily defeat, let alone a devil who thrives on lies."
