Soren looked at shin's eyes as if he was searching for any dishonesty but all he could find was sincerity. He slowly rose his hand and gestured the guard to let him go. "This time you are safe. But don't ack recklessly next time. You will have more enemies than children to teach in the future if you continue this. Soren said as if he was warning to not cross the line. Shin understood and nodded his head as he slowly got up. "Yes, your highness. Please forgive me for my rudeness and recklessness." Shin said while bowing his head. Soren nodded "You may leave now and be careful." Shin rose to his height and turned to leave. "Thank you, your highness."
Soren watched him leave.A sudden flash of memory hit him hard; the blurry path where Shin walked mirrored Asher's final steps so perfectly that the past and present began to bleed together. Soren held his head before murmuring. "Cassian, would you have also given him chance if you were here?"
