Before humans were created, before kingdoms and empires were established, and before wars and conflicts were waged for the sake of authority, power, and status—in a world that had yet to know the machinations, filth, and dregs of human politics—there existed several great entities, categorized into four primary types based on their natures, lineages, and powers:
First: Beasts and Ordinary Creatures
Beasts, in all their various forms and types, were the most widespread group in this world, owing to the vast diversity of their species, lineages, and classifications. They were organized and categorized according to the realms they inhabited; the realms of fantasy contained an infinite number of smaller worlds, collectively referred to as "ordinary realms." Each of these ordinary realms was infinite in size, yet possessed its own distinct timeline and narrative—though these often diverged only slightly from one another, to the extent that a single entity might have versions of itself existing across multiple ordinary realms.
Internally, these ordinary realms were divided into five major domains:
The realm of humans.
The realm of the nether demons.
The realm of the high dragons.
The celestial realm (the realm of the rulers)—a domain entirely separate and independent from the other four, even though each ordinary realm possessed its own unique cosmology. Second: Entities of Pure, Sacred, and Demonic Natures
These entities were distributed throughout the five realms and divided into two categories:
Pure and Sacred Entities:
In the Human Realm: They were known as "Light/Dark Elves." Angels were considered descendants of the Celestial beings, while Dragons, "Clusters," and Phoenixes represented power, authority, and purity—standing as the most formidable races within the Human Realm.
In the Realm of Celestials and Dragons: The races differed from those in the Human Realm, representing the pinnacle of evolution and transcendence for their counterparts (Elves, Angels, Dragons, and Phoenixes).
The Rulers: The most ancient and exalted race, known by various names depending on the culture. To users of Mana and "Kai" (aura), they were called "Rulers" or "Gods," while to practitioners of Qi, "Gu," or spiritual energy, they were known as "Guardians of the Will of Heaven and Earth."
Demonic and Chaotic Entities:
These entities inhabited the Underworld and the Demonic Realms. They possessed terrifying power that surpassed that of humans and many of the entities residing in the Human and Celestial/Dragon realms.
Third: Gu
A unique type of creature that lived in the Human Realm, distinct from all other races and species. A "Gu" was capable of assuming the form of any creature, or even existing as a physical entity that was simultaneously both living and non-living. These beings descended from the "Trees of Existence" located in the midst of the ordinary realms—trees that are, in turn, the fruit of the "Supreme Tree of Existence" situated at the heart of the realm of fantasy.
They possess immense power, approaching the capabilities of entities defined by their conceptual and fundamental nature.
As a Gu's rank increases, its abilities transcend the physical realm, eventually reaching the point where it can manipulate concepts and fundamental laws.
The manipulation of concepts begins gradually from Rank 6, culminating at the level of "Alpha Gu" (also known as Gu Kings or Gu Rulers)—beings capable of manipulating up to five concepts or laws simultaneously. This extraordinary transformation occurs if a Gu survives for a thousand years without being refined, or for two thousand years after being refined by a Gu Master—provided that the master is a "semi-ruler" who possesses at least four Gu of Rank 8 or 9. The Gu absorbs these, ascending to a level where it can exert absolute control over concepts.
The Planet "Zhihuaminghua"
These entities inhabit all the ordinary realms as well as the four inner realms—anywhere the planetary conditions allow for the presence of sustenance.
Among these worlds is the planet "Zhihuaminghua"—a single, massive landmass featuring diverse terrains and climates, spanning millions of square kilometers. Though the planet's volume exceeds that of several stars combined, it retains its form as a rocky world, shaped by the forces of destruction and creation. The origin of their names remained unknown to both Destruction and Creation. Despite their ignorance of the source, they felt a strange, deep-seated longing—a yearning for something once dear to their hearts. In truth, they had originally been a single entity known as Jie Yao Li, which had split into "Destruction" and "Creation." Deep down, they were fully aware of this, yet their mindsets had diverged radically:
Creation (Alessandra) envisioned a world free from destruction—a realm defined by peace and harmony.
Destruction (Zhao Li) viewed the world through a more pragmatic and logical lens; he saw a merciless reality where the heavens and the earth favor no one, and where those who lack strength are trampled upon without pity.
The law of this world was as simple as it was harsh: either be strong enough that no one dares to tread upon you, or be nothing more than filth—in which case, no one would care if they stepped on you.
The Well of Beginnings: The Birth of Yin and Yang
Deep underground, within a circular chamber constructed by an entity far older and greater than Destruction or Creation, the walls were inscribed with protective runes and temperature-regulating sigils. These were designed to nurture a mysterious presence pulsing within a cocoon—a structure reminiscent of a human womb. Inside, two lights—one black, one white—flickered with a steady, rhythmic pulse.
As minutes passed, the white light (representing Yin) and the black light (representing Yang) grew increasingly brilliant. A primordial energy began to coalesce, radiating waves of Yin and Yang throughout the space.
This was the spark that gave rise to the first humans on this planet—and, indeed, within this entire fantasy realm. The cocoon dissolved into black and white dust particles that glowed with a faint light, revealing a young man and a woman:
Alessandra (Creation): A woman of extraordinary beauty, dressed in a loose, white *hanfu* that complements her long hair and light violet eyes. She is surrounded by an intricate golden aura, vibrant with life and flourishing growth.
Zhao Li (Destruction): A man with a powerful physique and striking appearance, clad in a charcoal-black robe that matches his dark hair and deep, black eyes. He is enveloped by an overwhelming, domineering aura that exudes the scent of death and decay.
Yet, their energy and auras were significantly weaker than they had been when they existed as a single entity (Ji Yao Li)—for In the past, their combined power far surpassed that of fighters at the "Beyond-Existence" rank. Their energy had plummeted drastically due to the damage sustained when the guardians of the Sacred Tree of Existence betrayed them, causing them to split into two separate beings.
Worse still, both entities emerged soulless—the whereabouts of their soul remained unknown. This created an eternal void within them, stripping away 90% of their power and forcing them down from the "Beyond-Existence" rank to the "Low Outerverse" rank.
Furthermore, 99% of their remaining power was sealed; because they lacked a soul, they were subject to the fundamental laws of existence, which dictate that a weak creator holds no authority over a powerful creation.
The two exchanged sharp, steady glares—devoid of any warmth or affection—the result of long-standing conflicts and the oblivion that had erased their memories of ever having been a single entity known as "Ji Yao Li." All they knew was that they had once been one, only to be torn apart.
"From this moment on," Zhao Li said, his tone as sharp as a sword's edge, "we each go our own way. Do you understand, Alessandra?"
Unmoved by his words, Alessandra turned to leave, a complex expression lingering on her face before she vanished entirely.
Zhao Li gazed once more at the place where they had come into existence. "Time is a single river," he mused in a quiet voice, "yet it possesses many channels through which it can repeat itself—whether by reliving past events or by trapping us in an endless, inescapable cycle. And yet... why do I feel that this is not how it will end?" Zao Li let out a deep sigh, then vanished, departing the base with a complex expression—much like the one worn by Alessandra. Both set off along an unknown path, fraught with endless conflict, driven by the *void* that gnawed at them from within. They were condemned to a cycle of battle and perpetual separation; for a body without a soul is nothing more than an empty shell, bearing only the faint, lingering traces of a will belonging to a spirit that has vanished—never to return, unless fate itself should decree otherwise.
