Chapter 329 - Chapter 328: The Dragon Queen's Magic Shop

After taking the request paper and briefly looking over it, Meredy confidently patted her small chest and nodded toward Lucky.

"No problem. A mission like this is incredibly easy."

Seeing that Meredy agreed, Lucky smiled at Lucy.

"Then Lucy, just go with Meredy to complete it."

"Don't let her age fool you. Although Meredy is young, you can ask her anything about the guild."

"I understand. Thank you, Lucky-san, and thank you too, Meredy-senpai."

After thanking the two of them again, Lucy happily followed Meredy out of the guild.

Although Meredy had been in the guild for quite some time, this was actually her first time guiding a newcomer.

Wanting to perform well, Meredy immediately began introducing Magnolia's important locations to Lucy.

"That large cathedral over there is the Cathedral of Cardia. It is a landmark building in Magnolia with a history of several hundred years."

"The street directly ahead that leads to the city gate is called Central Avenue. It is also the heart of the commercial district."

"The best restaurants, dessert shops, cafes, and general stores in the city are all located on Central Avenue."

"But the magic shop we are going to today isn't there."

"Although it is the best magic shop in the city, and even one of the best in the entire kingdom, its location is extremely remote. Ordinary visitors would never be able to find it."

Meredy talked nonstop, causing Lucy, who was following behind her, to take out a small notebook and quickly write everything down.

"Teacher Meredy."

The hardworking student Lucy raised her hand.

"May I ask what exactly is the relationship between the Dragon Queen's Magic Shop and our guild?"

"Why would they be willing to provide such an easy mission to help us?"

"That's a good question. Let me think about how to answer it."

Meredy nodded seriously.

She even put on a thoughtful expression and touched her chin as she organized her explanation.

"Simply put, the owner of that magic shop is a close relative of one of our guild members."

"Any guild member who buys things there can receive a certain discount."

"Also, the owner is an extremely powerful mage, and the magic items she sells are all high-quality products."

"Over time, that place became the guild's fixed supply point."

"This kind of mission is also the owner's way of thanking everyone for supporting her magic shop."

"Eh, I see!"

"Then it makes sense."

"A shop run by the family of a guild member, with excellent products and discounts for guild members..."

If Lucy was not completely broke, she would have already wanted to go inside and buy something.

Even without money, she still wanted to visit the shop as soon as possible and see what kinds of amazing items were inside.

Seeing how curious she was, Meredy stopped wasting time and quickened her pace.

...

Just as Meredy had described, the Dragon Queen's Magic Shop was located in a very secluded area.

Lucy followed her through several small alleys before finally reaching the shop.

Judging purely by appearance, the little store looked completely ordinary.

It was even so plain that it barely attracted attention on the street.

The shop door was tightly closed.

The walls were not made of glass displays either.

Standing outside, it was impossible to see the decorations or items inside.

However, Meredy pushed open the wooden door with practiced familiarity and called inside.

"Aunt Irene, I brought a new guild member here to complete a request."

"Irene?"

The name sounded strangely familiar to Lucy.

But before she could think about it, her attention was completely captured by the interior of the shop.

From the outside, this place looked like nothing more than a small single-story building.

Yet inside, it was unbelievably spacious.

There was even a staircase leading to a second floor.

"How is this possible?"

"Did they use some kind of magic to expand the space?"

Before Lucy could fully process the huge difference between the outside and inside, she was once again attracted by the countless products displayed throughout the shop.

"Eh? This, this magic item..."

"Isn't this the transformation wand that can instantly change clothes?"

"This item is extremely popular. I couldn't even buy one before, but they actually have it here!"

"And this holy crown that allows someone to grow wings and pretend to be an angel."

"A magical dress that automatically cleans itself and keeps the wearer warm."

"A makeup set that claims the cosmetics will never smudge."

"These are all treasures that are rarely seen outside, but this place has everything!"

"This is paradise..."

"No, this place is even more heavenly than Fairy Tail!"

No girl could resist these kinds of magical items.

Lucy was no exception.

"Great, right?"

"All these amazing items were invented by Aunt Irene."

"Compared to outside, they are much cheaper, and there is always stock available too."

Meredy spoke proudly as she introduced the items to Lucy.

Although she was still young, she was also a girl who loved pretty things.

Everything Lucy had just mentioned was something Meredy already had a complete set of at home.
