After returning the cards, Yusaku snapped.
"Next, I use Link-3 Maliss White Binder and Link-1 Link Decoder as Link Material!"
"Link Summon, Link-2: Cyberse Wicckid!"
"And I place it in the Extra Monster Zone!"
As he spoke, both monsters dissolved into streams of light and shot into a Link Circuit that unfolded above the field.
In the next instant, two Link Arrows lit up, and a hooded boy in a green cloak descended from the circuit, holding an emerald staff.

Yusaku looked straight at Karasu.
"Since I just sent the Maliss White Binder that Firewall Dragon pointed to to the GY as Link Material, I can activate that effect."
"I Special Summon Knightmare Corruptor Iblee from my hand!"
A soft, starlit Summon flare burst across the field. When the glow faded, a girl in flowing robes appeared in the center Monster Zone, gray hair whipping in the air. Trails of starry light drifted behind her like ribbons, making her look like a fallen star, ethereal and mysterious.

Before he could process it, Yusaku's cold shout detonated like thunder.
"Next, I use the Knightmare Corruptor Iblee I just Summoned, Link-3 Maliss Red Ransom, and Link-4 Firewall Dragon as Link Material, all of them!"
Before the words even finished, three brilliant flares burst from the monsters. They transformed into three streaks of light that tore through the air and plunged into a massive Link Circuit opening overhead.
Across the circuit, Link Arrows lit up one after another along their fixed paths, shining so brightly the entire arena looked like it had been flooded with daylight.
"Wall of power that protects the world!" Yusaku raised his arm and pointed at the sky.
"Cross the dimensions, and step into that domain no one has ever set foot in!"
"Link Summon! Link-6: Firewall Dragon Singularity!"
"I place it in the central hub between the two Extra Monster Zones!"
A low roar rolled out as enormous wings unfolded from the circuit, as if stitched together from countless precision machine modules. The crisp clack of metal joints turning rang clearly.
A massive dragon, silver-white and shimmering with flowing light, descended slowly through crushing air pressure. Its scales reflected a cold gleam under the lights, and every flap of its wings kicked up gusts that whipped the flags along the edge of the arena.

Karasu's pupils shrank to pinpoints. He stumbled back a step, forcing out a shocked gasp.
"Link-6? That… that's impossible!"
The crowd froze for a heartbeat, then sprang up in a chain reaction, gasps and shouts overlapping.
In their fixed understanding of Duels, Link Monsters topped out at Link-5. The appearance of Firewall Dragon Singularity smashed that belief to pieces so violently they couldn't even react in time.
Up in the booth, Sasaki's eyes bulged. His hands clenched hard on the desk as he whispered, voice shaking.
"I… I'm not seeing things, right? That's… a Link-6 monster?!"
On the field, Yusaku glanced at Karasu, who still looked unsteady from the shock, and spoke evenly.
"Why can't there be a Link-6 monster? You're looking at it."
"As for what it does, that depends on whether you're good enough to force me to use it."
Karasu: "???"
Before he could even respond, Yusaku continued.
"The instant I Link Summon Firewall Dragon Singularity, the effect of Knightmare Corruptor Iblee in my GY can activate!"
"If this card is sent from my field to the GY, I can Special Summon it to your field in Defense Position!"
As Yusaku's words faded, a soft starlight glow lit up on Karasu's field.
Within the gathering light, the gray-haired girl in flowing robes appeared again, ribbons of starry light trailing behind her as she floated lightly onto Karasu's side.

"I banish Maliss Chessy Cat from my GY, and I add the Cyberse Tuner, Backup @Ignister, from my Deck to my hand!"
Yusaku pulled the searched card from his hand and showed it.
"I activate Backup @Ignister's effect. If I control a Cyberse monster Special Summoned from the Extra Deck, I can Special Summon this card from my hand."
"Firewall Dragon Singularity is already on my field, so the condition is met."
"I Special Summon Backup @Ignister!"
A dazzling Summon effect burst again, purple particles gathering and recombining.
Moments later, a girl with wild purple hair appeared, wearing futuristic clothes and sleek, techy sunglasses.

"I add Wizard @Ignister from my Deck to my hand, then I discard 1 card!"
He sent a card from his hand to the GY, then immediately brought out the Wizard @Ignister he'd just added.
"I activate Wizard @Ignister's effect!"
"If I control a Cyberse monster Special Summoned from the Extra Deck, I can target 1 DARK Cyberse monster in my GY. Then I Special Summon that target and this card from my hand in Defense Position!"
"My field meets the condition, so I activate it. I Special Summon the DARK Maliss White Rabbit from my GY, and I Special Summon Wizard @Ignister from my hand, both in Defense Position!"

"The second Extra Monster Zone?!" Karasu snapped back to reality, eyes full of disbelief, like he couldn't even trust what he'd heard.
Yusaku already occupied one Extra Monster Zone. How could he take the other?
Before Karasu could untangle it, Yusaku raised his arm high and pointed toward the air.
"Appear, my ace. I:P Masquerena!"
In a flash, White Rabbit and March Hare became two streaks of light and shot into a newly expanded Link Circuit above.
Two Link Arrows lit up in sequence, the brilliance like a blazing sun that forced the crowd to squint.
From the light, a nimble figure burst out. A playful girl in a black-and-gold outfit rode in on a sleek, high-tech motorcycle, her feet on power skates that glowed faint blue.
She drifted through the air in a flashy arc, sparks trailing, then landed cleanly on the field, perfectly occupying the second Extra Monster Zone.

Karasu's pupils contracted violently, his voice shaking with pure shock.
"This… how is this possible?!"
The crowd stood up almost as one, eyes wide.
In just a few minutes, Yusaku had overturned their understanding of Duels again and again.
Compared to them, the hardcore players were already talking like idiots in the stands, arguing about whether Karasu would even be allowed to play the game after this.
On the stage, commentator Sasaki's voice spiked, trembling with excitement as it blasted through the speakers.
"He… he's occupying two Extra Monster Zones at the same time!"
"They say if Link Arrows connect into a mutual link, you can claim both Extra Monster Zones. I always thought it was just an urban legend in the Duel world, but it's real. It's actually real!"
