Scarlett looked at the dessert, then at the robot, then back toward Kiara.
"I don't think I understood even half those words."
Kiara laughed softly.
"You only need to understand whether it tastes good."
The warm pastry released fragrant steam while the ice cream slowly melted into the vanilla sauce. Scarlett took a cautious bite. The contrast between hot and cold surprised her.
"So this… is dessert." She quietly smiled. "I think I understand now why your restaurant is always full."
The two women intentionally slowed their pace. Around them, customers gradually finished eating. One after another, they approached the reception counter, settled their bills, thanked the staff, and departed.
Eventually, the dining hall became almost empty.
Kiara finally stood. She paid the bill without hesitation, then looked toward the manager.
"I'd like to meet your chef."
The manager smiled politely.
"Certainly, Lady. If you'll wait just a moment."
He disappeared through the kitchen doors.
