The first pale light of dawn was just starting to filter through the trees when Scarlett Leon's voice pulled Kiara out of sleep.
"Kiara… Kiara… wake up. please..."
The princess had already been awake for a while.
"Hmm?"
Kiara slowly opened her eyes.
Scarlett then spoke in a low, steady tone, saying they should bathe properly before the day began.
Even though their spiritual energy could clean their bodies, the dirt and dust from sleeping outdoors still clung to skin and hair. It left an uncomfortable feeling that energy alone couldn't fully remove — especially for women used to city life and proper baths.
Kiara lay still for a moment, then answered without hesitation.
"Sure, I don't mind at all. We could use the lake formed by the waterfall nearby."
The steady roar of falling water could already be heard through the trees.
Scarlett paused, clearly surprised, but nodded after a moment.
They gathered fresh inner clothes and walked the short distance through the forest.
