Chapter 908 - The Empire Beyond Measure

Morning returned to the Empire of Kael Veyris.

But unlike ordinary kingdoms…

Morning here did not simply mean sunrise.

It meant entire realities awakening.

Above the capital…

Infinite skies layered across dimensions shimmered with impossible colors.

Stars larger than multiverses moved peacefully between branches of the colossal Universe Trees.

Entire cosmologies drifted like glowing lanterns beyond the horizon.

The air itself carried living energy older than creation.

At the highest platform of the Imperial Palace…

Kael Veyris stood silently.

Hands behind his back.

Watching his Empire awaken.

Beside him stood two of his wives.

Ashvattha Aeon.

Ancient Mother of World Roots.

Guardian of primordial life.

Her long emerald hair moved like living branches touched by eternity itself.

And beside her…

Eldara Verdelia.

The Sovereign of Eternal Verdant Creation.

Bearer of celestial forests older than dimensions.

Flowers bloomed beneath every step she took.

Ashvattha smiled softly.

Looking toward the horizon.

"The Empire feels lively today."

Kael nodded.

"It usually does."

Eldara folded her hands calmly.

Watching the lower city districts.

"Sometimes I forget…"

"Forget what?"

Kael asked.

She smiled faintly.

"That your Empire is not normal."

Kael laughed quietly.

"That is an understatement."

Far below them…

The city stretched farther than entire universes.

Massive crystalline towers touched dimensional boundaries.

Floating islands drifted above the capital.

Entire star systems orbited inside contained reality chambers.

The Empire itself existed beyond ordinary cosmological law.

And within its borders…

Lived 102 different races.

Not ordinary races.

Beings from across countless frameworks of existence.

Species powerful enough to shatter realities accidentally.

Yet living together peacefully.

Kael looked downward.

Watching life unfold.

There were Humans.

Not ordinary humans.

Humans capable of tearing apart universes through raw physical strength alone.

Children casually learning how to compress stars into harmless spheres.

Families discussing dimensional engineering over breakfast.

Scholars rewriting local reality equations.

Nearby walked the Aetherborn.

Entities made entirely from pure conceptual energy.

Capable of erasing abstract ideas with thought alone.

The Void Dragons flew across the sky.

Their breath capable of consuming entire hyperversal structures.

Yet now…

Used mostly for transportation.

The Chronari.

A race that naturally perceived all timelines simultaneously.

Seeing past, future, alternate causality, and broken histories as one continuous stream.

The Celestari Giants.

Towering beings whose footsteps generated universes unconsciously.

The Soulforged Kin.

Living embodiments of divine will.

Capable of shattering dimensional barriers effortlessly.

The Eclipse Seraphs.

Winged entities born from the space between existence and nonexistence.

And ninety-five other races.

Each equally terrifying by ordinary standards.

Yet peaceful.

Because Kael had built something impossible.

Harmony.

Far below…

The Imperial Knights were training.

Thousands gathered across the massive central courtyard.

Armor forged from conceptual alloys.

Weapons infused with primordial law itself.

Ashvattha observed them.

"Your knights remain absurd."

Kael smiled slightly.

"They are well trained."

Eldara laughed softly.

"Well trained?"

She pointed downward.

One knight casually swung his sword.

The motion split open seventeen layered realities.

Entire narrative constructs briefly collapsed.

Framework systems surrounding local dimensions shattered instantly.

Three multiverses disappeared.

Then automatically reconstructed themselves.

The knight sighed.

"Still too much force."

Nearby another knight practiced spear combat.

Each movement deleted causality chains extending through higher-dimensional hyperversal planes.

A third knight fired an arrow upward.

The arrow pierced six narrative frameworks.

Destroyed twelve possibility branches.

Then returned politely to the quiver.

Ashvattha stared.

"I repeat."

"Absurd."

Kael folded his arms.

"They defend the Empire."

Eldara turned toward him.

"Your soldiers can erase multiversal systems."

"Yes."

"They can destroy hyperversal constructs."

"Yes."

"They can delete narrative structures."

"Yes."

She stared.

"…Why?"

Kael looked genuinely confused.

"For proper defense."

Ashvattha immediately laughed.

"That statement is deeply concerning."

Suddenly

The Captain of the Imperial Guard noticed Kael above.

Instantly

Thousands of knights stopped training.

Turned simultaneously.

Then knelt.

The impact shook dozens of universes.

"GLORY TO LORD KAEL."

Kael raised one hand.

"At ease."

The knights rose instantly.

One young knight approached.

His silver-black armor humming with reality-warping force.

A sword rested at his side.

The blade itself actively erased surrounding concepts.

He bowed respectfully.

"Lord Kael."

Kael nodded.

"How goes training?"

The knight answered calmly.

"Excellent."

"We accidentally deleted two thousand unstable multiversal branches."

"Good."

"Knight Commander Vael destroyed twelve narrative frameworks."

"Very good."

"Captain Serion punched through higher hyperversal architecture again."

Kael smiled.

"Excellent discipline."

Ashvattha slowly looked toward Eldara.

"…I fear his standards."

Eldara nodded.

"Deeply."

The young knight hesitated.

"Lord Kael?"

"Yes?"

The knight looked uncertain.

"We discovered new invaders attempting to observe the Empire from outside reality."

Kael raised an eyebrow.

"Oh?"

The knight nodded.

"Three outer entities."

"Threat level?"

The knight answered instantly.

"Minimal."

Kael looked mildly curious.

"What happened?"

The knight stood straighter.

"Private Liora erased them accidentally while cleaning her spear."

Silence.

Ashvattha stared.

"…Cleaning?"

The knight nodded.

"Yes."

Eldara slowly rubbed her forehead.

"…Of course."

Far below

Citizens moved through the streets peacefully.

102 races living together.

A child made from pure plasma played tag with a young human.

A Void Dragon slept beside a market stall.

A Chronari merchant sold time-fruit harvested three weeks from tomorrow.

An Aetherborn teacher instructed children in cosmic mathematics.

A family of Eclipse Seraphs ate breakfast near floating gardens.

No fear.

No war.

No prejudice.

No conflict.

Because Kael had created more than an Empire.

He had created coexistence.

Ashvattha gently took Kael's arm.

Resting beside him.

"You built all this."

Kael remained quiet.

Watching his people.

Eldara smiled softly.

Stepping beside him as well.

"It's beautiful."

Kael looked toward the horizon.

Infinite realities glowing beyond endless skies.

"Yes."

He smiled.

"It is."

Far away.

On a mountain beyond existence.

Wukong watched through a cosmic mirror.

Eating fruit.

Again.

He stared at the knights below.

"…I need stronger friends."
