This is where I put all of the Illustration of this fic which are either made by me or through commissions (no AI bull shit). If you like the art, please consider follow and support the artist.
But before we go to that part, I have some words to say to our new readers.
Firstly, the MC doesn't know any the plot or how the magic work at the start and his goal never to be the strongest or anything so don't expect him actively training magic. And his condition doesn't support his magic anyway so if you are finding an MC who are strong and perfect in every way, please turn back, I'm not writing Solo Leveling kind of story. I don't feel bad for receiving 1 star because you feel disappointed, I feel bad for wasting your time.
This story is very slow burn and as I stated before, this isn't about pursuing power but it's a story about redemption of a very flawed and sinned person. Don't let the MC's backstory make you think he's a successful and a good person. He's a double standards, high ego and very hypocrisy at the very beginning of the story (and also very bad at dealing with people) so it may make you feel annoyed pretty much. You can see some bad reviews how people find him annoying and yes, it's intended and I won't sorry about that. I took inspiration from Onanie Master Kurosawa so... process with cautious.
Anyway, here are the Illustrations:
Illustration of chapter 12 - Fated Rival.
Illustration of chapter 31 - The Promise.
Illustration of chapter 53 - Real reason to be stronger. (WIP)
Illustration of chapter 64 - The Wedding.
The MC's Design at the age of 6.
Nanahoshi with her watermelon (gonna be in the story soon hopefully).
Illustration of chapter 77- Poem on The Ship.
Illustration of chapter 97 - 15th birthday
Edit: I don't know why I have to say this but if you read the novel and Orsted did mention the fact that not all the reincarnated process is perfect. Just like how Perugius lost his memory because his soul merge with his vessel too soon. Not everyone have a perfect vessel and process like Rudeus. Baby vessel doesn't get their brain fully developed so it can be easily prone to emotional damage and can't think logically. So it doesn't matter how good the soul and memory is, they will be less sharp than they should be. That's how the story will go for the first 50 chapters.
The reason why I use this approach because it's something no one ever give a fuck about it before. It's a good plot point, so I use it and I am proud of it.
Another note: The rank system isn't accurate. It got decided on which technique or spell you can uses. Like you can use the Longsword of Light, you are now a Sword Saint, it doesn't mean they will automatically stronger than anyone got less than Saint Rank. I don't want the MC learn sword technique too fast because they suppose to be hard due to the limit of the body and no one got to the Saint Rank before 10 in the whole story. Don't use Rudeus as an example, he's a Saint Mage at 5, not a Sword Saint. Swordsmanship and magic rank is too completely different field. Please take that in mind.
I warned you, if you still want to read and then say 'yada yada, what kind of stupid scientist he is' or 'the MC is pathetic because he's weaker than a kid' then I will delete your comment because it's your fault for not reading the warning. I know what I am doing. ^^
