The Chief was not having it that someone tried to make a mess. "When you are here, you will only listen to my orders!"
Fool the Second didn't like what he heard; he didn't appreciate that his brilliant idea was met with a rebuke. He looked at the other Goblin Champions. The Chief might not be able to appreciate his idea, but he just needed to gain support from the other Goblin Champions.
To his dismay, no one supported him. In fact, they were looking at him weirdly. Then he turned toward his trusted friend, the one who came with him. Surely he would support his idea. His friend shook his head; that was it.
Fool the Second then met the Chief's eyes once more, then he lowered his head. His brilliant idea seemed not so brilliant in their eyes.
"Don't you hear the report? There were at least three to four hundred kobolds. Surprise them? They have Kobold Scouts, and those Kobold Scouts will find us first. There will be no surprise!"
