"Well I was just about to leave, I don't really play too much I just like the game occasionally…"
Jophiel started laughing softly, before she stopped him.
"No no no. I wasn't asking you to play."
Something was strange about the casino now. The atmosphere felt strange. Something was very off. The people of the casino stopped moving. Almost as if they were frozen in time..the only ones able to break a sweat were Satsujin and Atsui. Jophiel slowly stood on the casino table kicking the chips and cards on to the ground.
"In fact…the game is just beginning.."
"Ahh… okay… so what is it you want from me then? I'm just here for the game, nothing else."
Atsui clenched onto the edge of the table once again ready for any fight.
The casino walls started to turn as if they were one unit. As if the building was a machine. The workers, bartenders and waitresses made their way to the front as if they were following a command.
The life had been drained from them practically.
Satsujin face palmed.
"Damn it! I was hoping she wouldn't do this."
Atsui jumped upwards onto the table and stood with his fingers positioned ready to summon his spear at a moments notice.
His eyes darted around the room reminding him of when he was younger, getting jumped on the playground for being a 'special' case of a spirit, only allowed into the spirit realm through sheer will itself.
A large game wheel appeared a few meters away from Atsui, all different kinds of things. Jophiel looked at him.
"Oh? Going to step to me? I see, I see."
She laughed.
"It's obvious you were the ones who killed Jiga in that park..and now..you will play my game."
"I don't play games. I only act. I'm a prodigal soldier. Abeing who became what I am through sheer force and will itself…"
Atsui summoned his spear and gripped the hilt tightly, summoning his flames around his aura to protect him if needed.
"Atsui stand down. She'll kill the both of us if we fight."
Satsujin stood up.
"This is apart of her Tokubetsu. Darwin's Game. If we try to attack her right now..our mana systems will shut down and we'll die.."
Atsui placed his spear down next to his chair and sat back down. He was irritated at the Tokubetsu that was activated against them and how they were caught completely off guard, at least somewhat.
"Ho ho! You're a smart girl!Now then..i'll explain the rules."
Jophiel floated upwards, the small angel wings on her back carrying her in front of the two.
"Darwin's game is a spin the wheel game that is completely unbiased, and it's my ability that I can only activate. I have no control over the game, and I cannot rig it in any capacity. You come up, you spin the wheel, and a condition is set for our battle."
"The game ends when one of us dies. You cannot quit, and leaving, or trying to obstruct the game will end in your immediate death. Understood?"
Atsui bit his tongue and waited for Satsujin to confirm that they understood the rules, being restricted like this almost drove him crazy. They didn't logistically have the upper hand in any way shape or form but neither did the church member. To think they were baited into a trap only a few days after their crime.
"Sure we'll play. We understand the rules. There's a problem. I have no interest in killing you Jophiel. However.. we're in the casino. So how about we up the stakes? If I, and my soldier here win you give us all the information on the church we want, and you become my familiar for the rest of your existence..even in the afterlife. If you win we'll admit to our crimes and you're free to kill us, or jail us. Whichever one is more pleasurable and beneficial to you. Do we have a deal?"
Atsui clenched his fists and looked around preparing for the game and the church members answer, he had wished they didn't end up in this situation but they fell right into it.
"I love a good gamble! Let's get it on then! Your turn to spin first!"
Atsui pointed at himself.
"Who? Me? I can't say I would want to go first."
"I'll go first. We'll go to three the first round."
"Alright that's fine with me… as long as it's nothing too crazy"
"Basically we spin the wheel for a condition for a battle. Best of seven rounds. We win if we take four rounds before her. Repeated battles with a set of rules, or circumstances. Do you understand Atsui?"
"Yeah kind of like the ladder matches in the spirit world arena. If we win we keep moving on with different conditions."
"Ladder matches? What is that?"
"Its essentially what your ability is… not too hard to read into but a test of endurance itself…"
Atsui was ready for the wheel to be spun.
*@Satsujin walked over to the side of the wheel and grabbed the side. She carefully spun it, trying to get something worthwhile.

The wheel read-
"NO MANA USAGE FOR THIS BATTLE."
Satsujin sighed and looked at Jophiel, who floated and laughed at the fail.
"HAHAHAHA! What terrible luck huh?!"
Atsui smiled, seeing this as an opportunity for a straight on fight, something to take advantage of as he grabbed the hilt of his spear once more.
"Fine with me…"
"Ready then?"
Jophiel aimed her hand outwards before a small white staff conjured in her hands. She aimed it at Atsui and Satsujin, as if to taunt them. It was her turn to spin the wheel on the next round.
"Go ahead then jester… make me laugh some more and spin that wheel…"
Jophiel walked to the wheel and spun it hard, clearly having fun out of this. It landed on the following:
'Infinite weapons around the area.'
Guns, Swords, Knives..all weapons started spawning around the casino. She laughed to herself.
"Well then..this is going to be a messy round."
"Works for me… so when does this start…"
He pulled his spear out of the ground and gripped it with both hands tightly.
Jophiel didn't waste a single moment. She cut through the infrastructure of the casino picking up a knife, before slashing clean for Atsui's Jaw. Atsui brought his spear upwards deflecting the knife and knocking it to the ground, bringing his spear downwards with a slashing motion.
Jophiel used the metal cuffs she had to block as they clanked against her wrists, she moved and sent a kick for the back of Atsui's head. Atsui ducked down and avoided the kick, spinning his extended right leg around for a sweeping attack below for Jophiel's legs.
