Chapter 64 - Chapter 63: The Tiger Strikes

Yuki raised her guns shooting out multiple blasts that created a barrier that started draining her mana rapidly. The lightning showed glitters of star like spots on the barrier revealing something unknown to herself.

The great wonder of night that was housed within her body began manifesting and in a glimpse protected her from the blast.

Damage was sustained.

Light pierced through and stabbed through her left arm leaving a gaping hole near her shoulder.

The smoke had cleared from the explosion eventually. Allgemein stood tall. He walked from outside of the base on to the grass plains.

The night sky illuminated his golden aura as he posed.

The lion growing larger as he held the blade.

He aimed it at Yuki's direction, telling her to come forth and receive a battle like no other.

The Wonder Of Night vs. Methuselah.

He waited for that power to show, so he could get just a small taste of it.

Yuki threw her blasters to the ground, her consciousness had faded as her body took control, showing her true Zenin potential. The sky had illuminated on her as she slammed her foot into the ground, her nail claws and veins popped on her hands and her hair flew upwards. She grit her teeth and dashed at the man out of pure rage reminiscent of her mother's emotional anger.

A trail of stars followed her as she swung her claws at the man's blade following the swipe with an attack from the void itself.

Allgemein pounced forward, the golden lion eclipsed her as it grew in size. H moved around her swipe and reached for her throat, grabbing her and ripping her suit.

He took his other hand and chopped her across her chest. His hand acting as a blade as he pulled her around and slashed her clean on her skin. The suits repair system was ripped once again from the nature of his mana, one that burned through space itself.

Yuki coughed as pure darkness sloshed from her esophagus and flooded the ground.

She started puking up the puss of the night as it encompassed the area. She raised her hands to the air as if she was grabbing the the world itself with her claws, tearing it down as she swiped downwards.

Balling of pure light rained from the heavens down in one last bright attack, the stars falling as its master had. She fell to her knees and collapsed, unable to keep up with the golden lion as the stars rained down upon the earth.

Kasaru managed to awaken slightly despite the delirium and damage he'd taken. He crawled over to Yuki and winced, his exposed back got covered in black feathers as he attempted to shield her from her own attack.

He was weak. He had nothing left to even give to her.

"I think we lost this one. What fuck do we do...?"

Allgemein watched the stars as his aura grew to protect him, he had eliminated everyone and it was time for their end. It was time for them to taste death.

He started walking closer to the two, aiming his sword at them. The tip burned and cackled. The light grew stronger and stronger.

An attack hit the lions shield as someone stood on a hill above the lion not to far away.

Allgemein shifted his focus as the young man stood parallel to the moon.

"Ah. So we arrived a little late…that's a terrible shame."

Raiden stared down at the man with a hunk of metal that appeared to be a sword on his shoulder. He looked down at the man and stood next to Gharma. He had a red fire burning in his eyes as he saw his cousins and friends lifeless bodies.

No emotions, but deep down that Otizawa fire burned brighter than ever.

Alexandria was between and behind the two, watching the chaos unfold, she had never seen anything like it before.

Living as a merc she only did small time jobs but this was something different… her blood caught fire with excitement for the events about to unfold.

"Otizawa blood! Yes I suppose I could add that to the serum. This is a dream come true. To get the DNA here…Our project shall finally be complete! Forget my militia. Forget my army. This is far better than any form of comradeship or connection. That is useless in the face of the world I wish to shape. I knew you had to show on this fated night! Come to me Otizawa…Let us clash to see whose world is superior!"

Raidens hair flowed with the shooting stars and the wind that violently thrashed around him and his twin brother, however they stood stronger then ever beside each other watching the man that was an amalgamation of genetic grafting and horror.

"If we gotta run through him to get Cynil back then that's fine by me."

Gharma punched his palm before sliding down the hill and dashing at the man, his pink mana flooded the area. A fresh soldier ready to be deployed on the battlefield. He stared down tne man as his pupils flashed the same color as that aura. It stretched toward and clashed with Allgemein's Golden one, something that always happened when two users exerted their power like this.

Raiden dashed to the side Gharma not batting a moment allowing his brother get hurt.

His crimson aura flared as he launched his Dragon Blood Art: First Assault blast towards the Man. Raiden's face filled with a great determination as the two brothers auras mixed to create a crimson pink hue of power

"HYAHHHHH!!!"

"Impressive. You house the blood of the dragon. My..I haven't seen that energy in over one hundred years."

The man smiled ear to ear, watching the attacks come forth.

"But what is a dragon without a man to slay it? He's simply just a lost beast within the confines of nature. No different from a mouse in the jungle."

The man's sword started to stretch, its color shining a bright gold. The aura of the lion crashed with the attack causing a huge burst of air to fly outwards. He moved and immediately got a hold of both Gharma and Raiden's faces, driving them into the ground immediately causing a large crater in the earths surface.

He had no need to hold back any longer considering the destruction of his facility. This is the game Allgemein loved the play. A game of destruction. The aura of the lion burned the Twins faces as the force of the slam vibrated throughout the land.

Raiden, being dragged through the destroyed facilities ruins, gripped his sword like his life depended on it, using it to slash at the man's shoulder with the aura imbued into the blade.

Imitating the second Dragon Blood Art: Dragon's Claw.

Three slashes of the dragons talon followed after Raiden's physical attack, his face being burned almost immediately healing back from him and his brothers intense healing factor gained from their mother.

Allgemein stood still for an instant before his shoulder was split open, his blood splattering on to the faces of Gharma and Raiden.

He slammed his wrist into Raiden's chest chopping at him. Chop after Chop he started to beat down Raiden first, before switching to Gharma and delivering hard, stiff strikes to their chest and lower neck. The heat from the chops destroyed their clothing and the flame seeped in to burn their chests.

Gharma blocked one of the chops after taking his beating. He was fast. Ridiculously fast. So fast that the fear inside of him would not subside like it usually did. There was no desensitization to having the inside of your vessel burned with scorching heat.

He delivered a clean punch to Allgemein's face knocking him back some. Gharma kicked up back to his feet and ran before throwing multiple strikes to the man. Allgemein blocked every strike, before his spear came back to him as if it was summoned.

Allgemein slashed at Gharma, the size of the spears blade was impossible to dodge by normal means, and even a trained gymnast could not bend and dodge around it.

Raiden recovered his stance and dashed to block the blade of the spear from hitting Gharma, the weight of the contact of each blade upon one another sending shockwaves that alerted the nations nearby.

Raiden winced at the pressure as he held the spear back with all his might

"NGH!"

He couldn't move his blade from the spear as the pressure was too heavy even for the power of the Dragon.

Gharma saw two visions. One of his brother protecting him and saving him from fatal injury and another. One of his father. He did not care to be King like his father, nor to conquer the land or instill some form of ideal into the world. He arguably didn't even care to fight or battle with others. He remembered a conversation that he had with Rai Otizawa.

The specifics of the conversation were rather blurry as it was unimportant, but he remembered something he said that stuck with him to this day.

"Do you remember who you were? Before you believed what the world told you what you should be?"

Prior to that conversation Gharma didn't know his father had a way with words, but that saying was his purpose for driving forward. He snapped back to reality before throwing a high knee that hit Allgemein clean in the nose.

Allgemein stumbled back, his vision turning on and off like a light switch for a split second before he snapped back to reality. He moved around and out of the way taking a breather, before he zipped back to Raiden and Gharma's position.

Alex followed after Allgemin, her own mana arts were special, as were everybody's.

She used her own self harm to differing affects, she switched from regular blinding blood to a more poisonous attack, slicing her palm up to coat her blade in a purple hue before following behind Allgemein tracking him down before slashing downwards towards his back.

Raiden readied himself and with finesse harbored his blade and coated it for the next attack, Dragon Blood Art: Third Twister. His blade swung around rapidly producing a twister of hot dragon fire that coated his blade and himself in a whirlwind, a defensive offense that he took from his brother Aladdin, that was passed down from his father.

The golden lion protected Allgemein from her poisonous blade as it blocked the slash from entering his space, a small defensive bubble that kept her from attacking him from his blind spots. He turned and slammed the back of his spear into Alex's stomach sending her flying into a nearby tree before turning back to Raiden.

The golden lion followed him as his speed doubled, throwing his elbow right into Raiden's face. He continued to engage Raiden, keeping track of the other two and their attempt to attack him at any moment. He pushed up on Raiden, attack after attack was thrown in order to break his defense.

Raiden brought his sword to block and deflect the rest of the onslaught from Allgemein, he prepared his fourth, Dragon Blood Art: Fourth Wind.

His blade lit aflame with the dragons curse shining throughout the lands. Raiden slashed at him relentlessly after deflecting an attack from Allgemein, a roar was emitted from Raiden as the ground erupted with an attack that shot upwards from the ground in a crimson red hue of pure Otizawa and Cerī mix. Raiden jumped back.

This attack should've shoved most of the group away from Allgemein before dashing forward for his fifth. Dragon Blood Art: Fifth Crecent. He delivered a slash that emitted a sound of a void opening. Then three dragon heads emerged from the abyss, heads that flew towards Allgemein.

The lion grew to massive sizes, it's fangs clamping down on the dragons stopping them immediately. Allgemein blitzed Raiden, delivering a powerful blow to the young Otizawa's gut. He continued his attack as he rammed his boot clean into Raiden's face. Gharma moved to help his brother and in a flash he was right in front of Allgemein. Allgemein grabbed Gharma by his collar before he drove his arm across Gharma's face, sending him flying in a somersault as Gharma's body crashed and flopped in the dirt. Allgemein jumped and attempted to slam his feet into Gharma but he rolled out of the way before getting back to his feet, struggling heavily against the man.

Raiden was sent back before jumping back into action to help his brother. He dashed with his heavy sword in one hand to the right of him, he yelled out towards him with the cry of a warrior.

"Dragon Blood Art: Sixth Fang!"

Raiden charged straight for Allgemein, his aura flared as a sign of dragon blood appeared across his forehead. He roared outwards. His blade multiplied with a slash to his right.

Twenty slashes consecutively.

Then a single slash to the left.

Twenty five more slashes.

Next was downwards.

Thirty more slashes.

This technique in specific started taking a heavy toll on his mana reserves, but leaving enough mana for the final Dragon Blood Art .

"Show me the Dragon Blood Arts! Show me what your family is truly capable of!"

Allgemein defended against the attacks left and right. his arms accumulating heavy damage in the process. His aura pushed raiden as it burned against his skin. He laughed at the pain from the slashes.

"What will you do?! Will you burn out just like your fellow comrades or will you push me to use my full power?! Answer me!"

Raiden's aura remained empowered from the last attack. He gripped his blade tightly and went for an upward slash to send the man into the sky to prepare the final Dragon Blood Art.

Specific conditions had to be met to pull the attack off just to hit this grand move that had been built up by the young Otizawa. The foe needed to be in the sky during the night, the moon must be shining down on the Otizawa and the enemy in a perfect illumination that became an eclipse.

Though Rai had not passed on his affinity for the moon completely his sons would inherit a part of that attunement to the Great Moon that once orbited the planet that had been reformed by the waves of mana entrancing upon the realm.

Raiden prepared his final Dragon Art with his sword low to the ground, his aura encompassing his body as he brought it up to his face. A crimson aura surrounded his body as only his eyes were white and circular through the aura. He yelled out at the man and the moon with his final Dragon Blood Art. His final attack.

"Dragon Blood Art: Roaring Eclipse!"

Raiden's aura transformed into a raging dragon. He thrusted his blade and blitzed towards the man in the sky, his body aflame from the Dragon's Ultimate aura. A roar that produced shockwaves shook the plains as he clashed into Allgemein's Barrier.

Allgemein cackled and belly laughed at the attack heading for him.

"Then…I shall use my technique as well! That is only fair right?"

The man's aura grew fierce, nearly corrosive in nature as the earths temperature itself started to rise. The golden lion extended from his vessel outwards toward the traveling Raiden. In a flash he met Raiden in the sky and slammed against his attack to counter the power he exerted.

A large cataclysm shocked and stabbed through the clouds themselves as the two energies fought one another. The man's wounds started to empower him, turning him into the beast itself, mimicking a certain god that once ran the world in its primal times. He grit his teeth as he pushed back against the Roaring Eclipse with his own hands.

Raiden's eyes grew fiercer as his attack grew more violent.

It was imperfect.

At such a young age he could not hold up completely against a man that had his lifetime plus many more of experience under his belt, Raiden continued holding the attack almost directly mimicking his father holding that once Great Moon back 16 years ago. Raiden let out one great defiant roar as he pushed his blade forward slightly, the crackle of the auras clashing created a loud electricity noise that would be deafening to the naked ears. Raiden winced as his body began crumbling under the pressure of the attack. The healing factor protecting himself from exploding from all the mana he was burning through and producing consecutively but barely holding him together.
