Solenne was sent flying across the battlefield as blood sprayed violently from her mouth.
Her leather chest armor had been torn almost completely apart. Only a few shredded straps still held the ruined pieces together.
Beneath the destroyed armor, numerous grievous wounds covered her body. Deep cuts stretched across her torso while blood flowed continuously from every injury.
She crashed heavily against the ground before rolling several times through the crimson sand.
Her face had become deathly pale and a deep wound stretched across the side of her neck. Fresh blood continued flowing from the injury without stopping.
Her situation was terrible.

It was far worse than terrible.
She was barely clinging to life through sheer determination alone. Her eyes had become bloodshot while her breathing sounded ragged and uneven.
Every nerve throughout her body screamed in agony.
Her muscles begged for rest.
Her bones demanded recovery.
