Damon's legal team, a phalanx of sharp-suited attorneys borrowed from the Hunter Association's general counsel, reinforced by a cadre of private practitioners quietly bankrolled by Ivy Cassia's political network, submitted the complaint to the Central Commercial Court precisely at 9:47 in the morning. 

The document ran to eighty-seven pages, not counting exhibits. It alleged breach of contract, tortious interference with public safety operations, and, most damningly, anticompetitive conduct under the Hunter Protection Act.

It was a rarely invoked piece of legislation that empowered the Association to compel the release of technologies deemed essential to national defense against corruption incursions.

The core argument was brutal. Arzhen Vasiliev, through his holding company, had acquired the exclusive production rights to the Barrier technology developed by Professor Cecilia Araceli and Team.
