"It might look like an act to you, but all of this is real. I didn't want any of this, it was forced onto me! I'm merely dealing with the cards that I've been dealt with! I'm not some monster or killer. I'm just a girl!" The air now tense, her ramblings shaking the elder. "I can feel your pain. I know you don't want to kill but forced to for your survival. It's okay young one, I feel your pain."
Lara buried her face in her hands before screaming. The elder stretched her hand in a means of consolation. Lara brushed her arm off. "I'm not a killer! I don't want to kill. I just don't want to feel pain." A look of understanding washed up on the old woman's face before the man from before interjected them. "Why the fuck are you two shouting?! It's the middle of the night, for crying out loud?!"
His enraged voice was no softer than Lara's breakdowns. "Wait! You're…you're that woman on the screen! The pale death!" The man's face contorted into horror as she recognized Lara, slowly backing up. "You must have killed that woman. It makes sense that you would be the one to do it!" The man frantically stated as he tried reaching for his phone before a black fluid was shot at him.
"Argh…"The man looked at his heart, now a hole took its place as he looked at the grandma. "You…" His face etched with conviction and horror as foam poured out of his lips and collapsed to the ground. His body broke out into spasms, his grunts and cries further elevating Lara's heartbeat as she saw the scene unfold. "Worry not. Unlike the one before, I'll get rid of this one." The elderly woman said, her hands clasped behind her back.
'Is everyone I meet nothing more than cold-hearted killers?! This has to be a sick game! A prank maybe!' A look of pure hysteria washed over Lara's face as she looked at the man, now lifeless on the ground. The grandma stretched out her hand and a thick black viscous liquid left her hand and swallowed the body. It wasn't long before the sounds of crunching permeated through the air, ones that with each crunch would make Lara's figure wince.
*Thud*
A full-grown adult was now reduced to a half meter by half a meter block of flesh. Blood now spilling all over the ground, insides like guts and bones now visible. The body was turned into a block akin to a cruel present as a smile of satisfaction washed up on the grandma's face. "Oh, looks like you found the killer. Guess now you believe it wasn't us who killed that woman from before." Brittany chimed in from the side. Lara, however, was still entranced by what she was looking at before she vomited.
"If it's not the missy from before, you really shouldn't have been so disrespectful. Looks like I have to teach you some manners!" Andrew appeared next to Brittany, his gaze landing on the box flesh for a present before his gaze landed on Lara. "Do you really think that I would let you so much as touch me? You must be dreaming, you hag! Andrew, kill her!" Andrew, however, didn't make a move, his hands still pocketed.
"Lara, kill her." His words eliciting looks of shock from Brittany and Lara, who were on her knees, recovering from the human offal presented to her. "I don't want to! I'm not like you!" She shouted, her eyes teary as she tried to catch her breath. "Do you really think that I won't teach you a lesson? I was thinking of letting you off after apologizing, but now, your corpse as a present will do, missy." The grandma shot her black liquid at Brittany, small and compact akin to a bullet only for it to crash into an invisible wall.
"What?!" The grandma, stunned by what she saw before her eyes, drifted towards Andrew. "Looks like there are more talented people! I hope you can pick up a thing or two from me, sonny!" Andrew kept his gaze on Lara, his words echoing once more. "Kill her Lara! Or would you like to experience that kind of pain once again?"
*Whoosh-Whoosh-Whoosh*
Multiple black bullets were shot at the pair with no effect as Andrew prevented them from landing on their figures. "You're no fun sonny! Since you won't make a move, then I'll force you to!"
*Whoosh*
A black bullet was shot at Lara. The direction of the conflict surprised the lady before the bullet landed squarely on her chest. "Gah!" A mouthful of blood followed, beads of sweat trickling down her face as she fell to the ground. "Aren't you going to help her? I know you want to; there's no shame in admitting it!" A cackle rippled through the air, the grandma donning an ear to ear smile.
Andrew, however, didn't make a move in saving her as he watched Lara lose her life. "What? Don't tell me you're going to watch her die like this! It's pathetic of you as a man to let a girl like her die like this!" Despite the grandma's antagonizing words, Andrew remained still, Brittany to his side, watching Lara die. "I thought that I would have to plan for your death, but this works as well, to think that you would choose suicide over killing. But then again, knowing you, I'm not surprised!"
Lara, with her hands on the ground, could feel her consciousness slip, her vision turning black. 'Is this how I die?' She couldn't help but wonder as more and more blood trickled out of her orifices. "Argh!!" She screamed into the night sky, her pained groans moving no one as they all watched her die. Her eyes narrowed, looking at all of them.
'Nothing but monsters! Killers! I would rather die than become what they are.' She let her figure crash to the floor, letting death take her. Andrew, seeing her dying figure, made a move.
*BAM*
With his telekinesis, he threw the grandma past the guardrail and into one car in the parking lot. He crouched above Lara's body, his indifferent gaze meeting with her vitriolic glare. Flashing a scalpel, he let some of his blood trickle into her lips. "Kill her if you want the pain to end." His whispers met with a shout of agony from Lara, who was on the cusp of death, were thrust back into the scene. "ARGHH!!!! PLEASE END THE PAIN!!!!!" Her face grimacing, veins bulging all over her forehead, with foam all over her lips. Her hands reached for Andrew. "KILL ME!!! PLEASE JUST PUT AN END TO THIS TORTURE!!"
Her voice was hoarse now attracting attention from the other tenants while the grandma picked herself up. Her hand now slowly repairing itself, a look of determination and anger on her face as she made her way towards Andrew. "I swear that I'll kill you, sonny!" Her words laced with hatred as Brittany produced her gun.
*Bang-Bang-Bang*
Multiple shots were fired at the grandma's head and joints only for black plates to form protecting the grandma from the damage. "Andrew! I don't want to die right now so deal with this now!!" Brittany shouted, putting her gun aside and made her way over to Andrew. "Lara will be the one to kill her." His words flat as he picked up Lara's figure and threw her off the first floor and onto the ground.
*Thud*
The drop was enough to shatter a rib of hers while Andrew leaned over the railing, watching Lara amid her cries try to pick herself up. "Kill me! Someone kill me!" People who would emerge out of their rooms with the goal of trying to see what was unfolding, meeting their silent deaths from Andrew's scalpels till the entire motel was silent except for Lara's cries. "I'll kill you to relieve you of your pain before I kill that bastard!"
*Whoosh*
A black blade gleamed in the night, a sword extending from the elder's arm and cleanly cutting Lara's head off her shoulders. Brittany let out a groan. "Damn it! I wanted her to battle the old hag to death!" Lara however wouldn't be given an easy death as much to the shock of everyone present, the dead Lara's head reattached back onto her neck by her blood and bringing Lara back to life. "GAH!!" Lara immediately broke into a gasp before the pain assaulted her.
"PLEASE LET ME DIE ANDREW! I DON'T WANT TO LIVE ANYMORE! CONSIDER OUR DEAL ANULLED!" She cried out, the grandma perplexed while Brittany was left speechless. "You can bring people back from the dead?!" Her query shot through as his telekinesis pushed the grandma back, her elderly figure crashing with Lara's body, breaking another bone in her body.
*BAM*
Andrew watched the whole thing unfold with a lazy air fitting of a prince watching a gladiator fight. "Lara, I'm not letting you die till you kill her!" His simple words sending shivers down Brittany's spine. 'To think if I pissed him off that the worst he could do was kill me!' Her smile momentarily vanishing and replaced with a look of grim realization. Lara was drowning in agony. From head to toe, she could feel the mercury course through her, akin to glass shards weighing ten kilograms (22 pounds) pinning her in place.
Organs moved around, her brain and skull grazed with metal beneath her skin as her eyesight would flicker from black to normal. It felt as if something was crawling in her body, invading each inch of her body with no remorse and worst of all, was that she couldn't die. 'How does he expect me to fight in this condition, let alone kill this woman?!' Lara shouted in her mind, her fists heavy as she forced herself to take aim at the elderly.
"Don't bother sweetie! I'll just kill you again!"
*Whoosh*
Lara's head rolled to the floor once more, blood spraying the cars and walls as the grandma kicked her head to the road before placing her focus back onto Andrew, who looked down on her akin to an audience meant to gain joy from her performance. "Does it bring you any pleasure doing any of this?! You're a sick fuck for making an innocent girl like her to do something like this!" Brittany burst out laughing. "From one killer to another, don't you think that's it best to drop the hypocrisy? You have your fun in crushing bodies and we have fun in dragging the experience! So spare us the bullshit!"
Behind the grandma, Lara's body picked itself up and made its way to the road and picked up Lara's diced head and reattaching them till Lara was back alive and shrieking from agony. Falling to the tarmac, the first thing that caught her attention was Andrew's glare on her. It wasn't harsh like that of a mentor's, nor eager in her suffering like Brittany's. Half lid as if he was asking a favour out of her like best friends. 'He really will keep bringing me back until I kill this old bat!'
Her teeth grit, her gums laced with the black and red of mercury and her blood as blood poured out of her pores. The grandma, realizing that Lara was back up, shot a bullet at her head, splattering her brains all over the tarmac. "I know it might be painful, but you can't kill me, missy! I don't care how many times I'll have to keep killing you, but I know your friend can't keep this up forever!" A cackle rippled through the air before a gasp followed.
An unseen force suspended the older adult in the air, making him an easy target for Lara. 'I don't want to but the pain! I can't bear it anymore!' With her right eye still recovering, she shot her silk towards the grandma, who let out a bloodcurdling shrill. "ARGH!!" Brittany, unlike Andrew, had a nervous smile etched on her lips. 'To think that he would be this cruel to Lara.'
